While I was checking the decompiled scripts, a piece of code caught my eye. It was so interesting and useless at the same time. What's the big deal you may ask ? Well, first of all this is useless. The global variable isn't used nor is this function used properly. It's like you ask someone a question, "what's your favorite game ?" and he respond "GTA 5" but in this case, it's more like "What's your favorite game" -> "Let me check my list of favorite games" -> "GTA 5" It would make sense to just give an direct answer, right ? This function is supposed to select a script from a list but there's only one at the moment, which is "freemode_init". But why does it have to check a list when there's only one script ? That's the interesting part, I believe with the next update, there will be another script that may be selected instead of "freemode_init". What does this mean in English ? If this is related to the next DLC, then the next one is probably a big deal, because what this mean is that Rockstar is working on changing freemode, as in changing your play style. Think of Cops n Crooks, that cut mode was supposed to be another version of the current freemode we have, it wasn't supposed to be an adversary mode nor a mission. We may be getting the true Cops & Crooks OR the next update is something like Red Dead Online Roles update, you sign up for a role and do stuff related to your role.

Neat little car that strangely sounds like it has a V8 despite having a four banger. Not complaining though since an 8 cylinder engine sounds better than any four banger could dream of.

Yes, I believe it could be the December DLC, because you know the code I found was included with the casino update, it wasn't there before the update. It may turn out to be a new mode that function like free roam or it could be custom free roam session like @HamwithCheese said. As to how it would function, it will be something like when you start up the game, there will be an option that would launch the mode, this will transfer you to a session that look like free roam but it's different than the regular free roam, the rules would be different there, CEO or MC President may not be a thing. It could have its own roles with businesses and such. Or it could be something like this Some kind of gang territory mode like Cops n Crooks. I don't think it would be like you launch a mission and then you become a cop, I believe it's more like free roam but you are always a cop or a criminal. When you do something as a criminal, the cops are informed of what you have done thus they chase you and try to arrest you. It is something that affect your overall experience, not just a mission where you go there, do this and that, then go back ..etc

I was taking my new Weeny Taxi to LSC and I happened to have followed a player there who was going to LSC (for whatever reason) he stops short of the entrance blocking anyway to get inside, then he has a sticky in he's hand, attempts to them out the window at my vehicle, all 3 attempts miss & fail, The 4th time he attempts to do so I'm already out of my car and have an assault rifle on hand, I end up getting the sticky that was in he's hand blowing up him & he's vehicle. I got charged $9300 for he's sh*tty Kurama. And I wasn't even hostile to start off with, some people can't let others have nice things.

I just couldn't pass up on it so I got mine and turned it into a taxi, took it for a spin around Los-Santos for some Photo-shoots. Fact: I took over 50 different images and spliced them up in the Rockstar editor.

(I hate how we still dont have a damn character set in the crew embled editor, i hate how it replaces all existing crew logo's on other vehicles even though they're still listed under the crew, and i dont know why the picture is some wacko stretched widescreen bs)

The vast majority of us has zero interest in playing a cowboy game. it will not be even noticed in GTA online.

I love the Frontiersman shirt. Also I'm really enjoying the daily challenges (besides when they want you to stomp on squirrels and bunnies) - it's usually a good mix of activities both PvE and PvP, there are decent incentives to do as many of them as you like, and linking additional ones to the Roles allows me to do more of what I want while still earning some gold for those special items in the catalog. Defensive mode has allowed me to play alongside others without fear of being turned into swiss cheese and It's really helped me get back into the game. I can sit in saloons with just my pistol and feel I'm not automatically going to get preyed upon because i'm not armed to the teeth. As a result I've taken to role-playing in public sessions - something that would never have been possible before. As for new content I'm already at level 70 with the recent Outlaw Pass and am still playing every day. Good job R*. No sarcasm

How to sleep for 17 days straight?

The real problem is that R* has got so boring and out of touch with the community since they let GTA5/Online get to their heads. They even deleted the chat section from their now boringly dull website. A little tease or at least something to hold us in between? We're on an endless cycle of a new game every 5 years and online dripfeed to fill in the gaps. Its nauseating... An asked and answered? ANYTHING

Gunrunning almost made me quit R* games, that's for sure. I closed my wallet to EA after years of them taking my money on several annual titles, it would only have taken a small push for me to do the same with R* at that point. RDO being so chill has restored my faith in R*, to a degree. Because for all my complaining, most of which I feel is entirely justified, I have to give credit where it's due. It would have been so easy for R* to make RDO freeroam the same sh*tshow that GTAO freeroam is, but instead, R* have made a very decent effort to discourage not only griefing, but all unwanted freeroam PvP, even to the point where we can run a freeroam business and choose to completely skip PvP on sale missions for a 25% reduction in payout. Bounty Hunting only has player bounties as an optional PvP element and being a Collector has no PvP aspect at all in freeroam. RDO, in this regard, is a vast improvement on GTAO and as a result, a more chill, even mature, player base has evolved around the game, for which I am extremely grateful.
