This car could have worked better as a Benny's car IMO. Like, imagine buying this: And turning it into this: Not only this would benefit the crowd who would prefer a more stock-ish car, it also would provide people who would upgrade way more customization options, not to mention that as always, there would be players who would buy both versions of the same car, all of this potentially increasing Shark Card sales. Everyone wins! #BringBackBennys12 points -

It's a scheme to get players to invest more of their time and money. If you want to fight the guys with the flying bikes, you've got to invest as much as they have, whether it's by buying currency or grinding your way to the top. My advice, as many others around here will give, is to find friendly players or go at it solo. You can load into a solo/invite/friend-only session from the pause menu in singleplayer. Options to make money are more limited, but most features of the nightclub (excluding the warehouse sales) can be done in invite/friend lobbies, and most missions can be played solo. Rockstar provides the most basic of amenities for players who want to get away from the hellscape of public lobbies, and fail to emphasize them, but I'm of the opinion they're just laughably disconnected from the reality of GTA Online's freeroam rather than really wanting it to be a nightmare. They like to show players working together and socializing more than blowing each other up and otherwise avoiding each other at all costs, after all. Oh, and there's an option at the very bottom of the Interaction Menu called 'Passive Mode' that'll make it impossible for other players to damage you, so it's useful for escaping annoyances. Most griefers will get bored after a minute and fly off. Hah. It's perfectly sound advice for players who want to enjoy the game in one of the ways it's designed to be enjoyed, like every other GTA title. It's not all about being 'good at the game', because it's a game, it's meant to be fun and enjoyable. That's been the appeal of GTA since GTA III - it's an open-world sandbox that allows players a rather broad degree of freedom to do what they want, and it's happy to cater to that, and it's why GTA clones in general are so successful. Not because of the combat, not because of the cars, not because of some sort of competition (as unique to multiplayer as that is), but because of all that and more. I happily play this game in invite-only sessions atleast once a week and have been since 2015, and I'm well satisfied with what I've accomplished. You can play it the way you want too, but there's no reason to try to force your personal preferences for playing such an open game on other players, as that's awfully silly.7 points -

I mean the games economy breaks at the end of Chapter 2 so I wouldn't worry. You can break it at the start of Chapter 2 - aka immediately after the prologue - if you go do all the treasure maps. Rockstar are great at a lot of things, in-game economies is not one of them.6 points -

Japanese luxury. A term that must've sounded hilariously oxymoronic to American buyers back in the 1970s, but isn't so alien today. I'm not complaining. I was skipping this page, but here's an extra low-effort personal addition to this selection:6 points -

@rollschuh2282 I'm sure that's just for developers. I think the "no socialclub" option is to launch the game without going through the launcher. It seems like the release of the launcher made them change things a little bit. I think the whole reason they came up with "qabeta3" was because their launcher was under development, so at the time there was only a developer version of the launcher. Now there's two versions, public and developer versions, they have to separate which is the cause of the mess we saw in steamdb. You can see the option is linked to "external builds" so it make sense you would launch an external build without going through the launcher.5 points -

Unpopular opinion: I think RDR3 should be completely different from the story of the Dutch Van Der Linde Gang. Completely new story, characters, and maybe some references, but in more 1870s -1880s. Also check out the performance capture actor of Arthur Morgan, really cool guy.5 points -

I do hear you. Honestly I always feel bad collapsing good bitches into this thread. True. That's why I said BnM should be a sub section. The topic of bitching about a purchased video game might sit a bit differently with me then a lot of people here. I predate videogames. The cost of video games has not scaled with the quality of the final product. My goto example is Atari 2600's game Adventure and Skyrim. Same game, almost the same price(that part gets even crazier when you do the real math). I think people will agree that Skyrim blows Adventure out of the water. As someone who paid full price for Adventure when I paid the same price for Skyrim 30 some years later...I was blown away. That doesn't mean we can't and shouldn't bitch and moan. We also shouldn't feel we are 'owed' something just because we paid money for something entertaining. If we applied that to everything, every disappointing movie, meal, concert would generate so much bitching that we wouldn't have time to talk about anything positive in life. Sorry to ramble. It's been one hell of a week in real life.4 points -

I just closed out then reloaded the game into story mode then went to online through the in-game menu and I was dropped into my casino in less than 3 minutes. 6 year old game and we still can't log in without an issue.4 points -
