I can see where your coming from and you make some good points... BUT... I find it weird that they release the launcher now. If they are going to release the game next year then they would probably of released the launcher at/near the end of the year. If the game is coming out next year, most people would of forgotten about the launcher and they would of wasted all that money on marketing for nothing. The GTA SA incentive tells me they want users to be on their new platform quickly so they can announce a game on a platform people already have. This could remove the hassle of people moaning about downloading a new launcher.

I was on my 27th day of daily streaks and it got reset. R* credited me a whopping 5 gold bars. I would have got a treasure map and made way more than 5 gold had my streak not been reset. 10 months on and this game still deserves a BETA tag.

I'm positive the game will be very well optimised, but I also bet that the highest settings will be extremely demanding, as they should!

Gears of War just launched on PC to very little fanfair. Halo's a much bigger franchise true, but it's not going to be a show stopper or anything, especially as the MCC collection will only start with one game I believe. MS need to build the audience for their first party stuff on PC before they're going to be considered major PC releases.

I can hardly believe it watching these 2013 videos of GTA 5. Xbox 360 and PS3 games DO NOT look like this. Things like pedestrian AI may have been toned down but overall what they accomplished was utterly mind blowing at the time, heck the graphics and physics are still impressive even today, even the original Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.

Trying this hat from one of the trader outfits and accidently found a place ive never seen before while huntin ducks. Small native camp behind aurora basin. I dont know if this place is part of the story because I still havent finished the story to end, because I started the story multiple times from start...(and about to start again haha, maybe l reach the end one day). I hope they fix the creator bug soon so I can finally try to get this characters look the way i was planning originally.

Seagull flying into the thread... Take 2 would be winding up the big marketing campaign if anything was coming out for the Holidays. It'll be a Q1-Q2 push to hit say in March at the earliest. Is anyone reading the tea leaves in the Take 2 profit reports and planning? It's Marketing's job to make sure everyone who's not a fan is starving for a version of a title that's already out. It'll also get big hype because it's the first PC release for the series. My bet is still if there's a Remaster of the previous game in the works, they'll release that first for console, then spin off a PC version at the same time they update RDO to have the Mexico material. This gets everyone to buy the Remaster so they can see the updated material. They could do a PC and then a Remaster. Ah... maybe they'd do that. Have a RDR2 PC release, then a PS4/XB1 RDR1 Remaster release, then a RDO Mexico release, then a RDR1 PC release so PC fans buy two titles. Yeah, that's the way to double or triple dip buyers. It'll be interesting to see what they've been putting their big Environmental Art Department and Cinematics Team on for the past year or two. GTA 6 is probably still in the early prototype phase not needing a massive Art or Animation group yet. So... do we want to believe RDO's Frontier Pursuits took their 1000+ team to make happen? The San Diego R* team is probably doing the RDO stuff while the UK R* teams are doing "Red Dead's Expanding"

I'm calling your characters skills at skinning animals crap... The whole story is Cripps is a skilled tanner and your just some escaped convict with a gun. Sure your character can skin an animal, but it doesn't mean they actually know what they are doing or are going to do a good job. That's why Cripps doesn't pay well for skins. The skins you bring him are hack job amateur work at best. While if he had the unskinned carcass, he would be able to a much better job himself and yield a quality pelt that fetches a high dollar. Now taking it away from the canon reason, let's actually break this down. 3 Star Moose Pelt and Moose Antler The Butcher gives you: $7 for the pelt $1.05 for the antler. $8.05 in total. Cripps gives you MVU 7 for the pelt MVU 1.05 for the antler. MVU 8.05 in total. This translates to: ~$10 at 25 Goods sold (~$12.50 far) ~$12 at 50 Goods sold (~$15.00 far) ~$20 at 100 Goods sold (~$25.00 far) So this means that at the low end Cripps is offering you ~25% more than the Butcher and ~213% more on the high end.

If you ask me, it never left Beta. They just took off the tag in the game's title, but it is still very much beta.

I'm still rather sceptical and noticing a few discrepancies with the classification, but it being rated has to mean something I guess. Especially because they've been using RED DEAD REDEMPTION II for everything except this.

This is why I laugh when people call GTA V "dumbed down" compared to IV. Yes, a few physics details are less impressive but overall GTA V was an incredible achievement for 2013

It might just be me but I would like consequences for just chaining Health Tonics and stuff like Moonshine. I know that getting drunk removes your ability to Lock-On but chugging Health Tonics, Snake Soil and stuff like that should make you vomit. This would negate the strategy of f*ck bois who just continually chug stuff and call it skill.

Unfortunately though due to the mentioned issues a video is going to have to wait. While I've been working on numerous UG-MP features The Truth has taken on numerous bugs on the Trello to do list, and we may (hopefully) see the return of the Midway streams soon.

Npcs can shoot sticky bombs out of your hands, so be careful if your using them in missions with stupid AI aim.
