Well, I skipped buying the Nebula because people said it drove like ass, and that there was another car coming out with drift mods and, apparently, drift handling. I must say, I am quite disappointed in how it drives. I've been taking it around for a while now, and while it's quite nippy and cuts in nicely, it is too bouncy to do what I'd like with it as a performance car. I know it won't exactly be competitive in a real race, but having something quick to dart in and out of traffic in would be nice if the front end would stay on the ground. I've tried stancing, slamming, leaving the suspension stock, but nothing quite works when it comes to drifting it consistently either. It's not like the Vamos, where it pulls at random, but it refuses to stay in a drift for more than a couple of seconds, despite sitting at the redline for most of it. I can get some strings going if I really push the thing, working the handbrake while it's slammed, but it still disappoints me to know I won't really enjoy driving it myself. I do have to say that aside from the windows, I really do like how the thing looks overall. It also cost a fair bit less than I was expecting it to, and I was lucky enough to have won half its price on a horse race earlier, thinking betting 10k on the longshot would be funny. I'm a fan of most of the mods, save for the weebsh*t and the blower (fight me irl), and how it looks in general, and I imagine I'll get used to the handling and likely turn it into a little autocross car before long, as is the fate with a number of "oh god, what do I ever do with this thing" vehicles in my collection.11 points -

I'm probably setting myself up for a kicking here, but as far as RDO freeroam goes I'd rather not have UN2 thrust upon it. A freeroam event or showdown series, yeah that would be fine, a SP DLC would be great, I wouldn't even mind a few days of special Halloween weather conditions during in game nights, but I'm just not feeling the prospect of X number of days where freeroam turns into a Western TWD 1890's spin off.7 points -

Anyone else annoyed by the hideous exhaust options? That's about the only complaint I have about this car visually. Okay, the side windows are a little too wide but then the 6 Series this is based on kind of has similarly oversized windows, just to a lesser extent. And the interior should be legitimately paintable. And it should have a straight six instead of a lawn mower engine. But other than those it's a pretty good car.7 points -

Silentc0re and 5 others reacted to Tez2 for a topic
I think Zelnick was talking in general as in talking about the industry, not his own company or Rockstar when he stated that PC represent 40% or 50% of the revenue. We have solid evidence that RDR2 is gonna be available on Google Stadia which would boost their revenue. Many may think the Stadia version would be like 5% or 10% of the revenue but the key here is that the service is coming in November, a month before December which is likely to be the release month for RDR2 PC. If I was Rockstar, I would keep the Stadia version hidden behind the scenes if I'm planning to release the PC version in December and then release both Stadia & PC versions simultaneously.6 points -

Let me get this out of the way. Zombies have nothing to do with Halloween, never did, never will. If R* does some Halloween update, I hope they're more creative than just rehashing something they did 9 years ago. It would be something to do, so I'm not entirely opposed to it in that regard. I'm hoping for something more interesting and clever, versus the cheesy and overplayed.6 points -

It is not that the sliders do not stay where you place them. It is that when you confirm the changes and purchase the change, the sliders go to random points on the scale. So you put a slider at point 4.3x7.5 what you are seeing is the true representation. When you confirm the spot, the slider will move to say 8.1x2.6 so even if you want to tweak it you have to move the slider back to the position you had it in. And when you return to the creator they are just all over the place. To the second point... the heritage (skull shapes) option was specific to allow you to create from that shape. Idk what they have done to the shapes but they are all shaped different since the 17th. Heritage 3 on the female (possibly the best one there was) has been hit the hardest. I mean.... I understand that people WANTED to have their character appear in game as they do when creating them and have more options. That does not mean they wanted what was there to have a rolling pin taken to it. Not a single body asked for this change, it was unnecessary, unwarranted, and unannounced (the worst part). Had it said somewhere in the patch notes with Frontier Updates or even yesterday's patch, it would be a bit more understandable (not reasonable), and this is of course including a second free character change. I do not want my 10 gold back. I do not want anything credited to my account. I just want my character to look f*cking normal and not like Robert Z'dar. Is this a demand? You bet your sweet ass it is. I normally do not make demands, but this was a change that no body requested nor asked for, let alone suggested. I get they made changes to the creator, but for this drastic of a change? Does anyone even recall having faces this wide when they originally implemented the changes months ago? It is only made worse by the lack of any mention, and that Rockstar has not even said anything on the matter. They do not need to wait for a fix to come in, just say they understand the issue and go from there. EDIT: No offense to Robert Z'dar... may he rest in peace.6 points -

Okay so lucky for me, I hadn’t bought the Outlaw pass yet. I got them to give me ten gold bars for the daily challenge reset and slider reset bugs and bought the club pass, which let me fix my character’s sliders for free. While her face is still wider, it’s not noticeable at most angles and I’m satisfied with this. Now watch them undo whatever they did and mess it up again...6 points -

If you ask me I'd keep those 12 million to keep the safe fully stocked. That's my goal at least. So I know I'm B&M'ing about the mini model cars, but come on! I can't be the only one who has done this. Mini model for reference Really fits my character's inner manchild. I've done the same with the Hermes and I'm itching to see what color schemes the unreleased models will have. We all have our desires for collections, after all! Edit: Pardon my outfit. What I'm guessing is that 1.11 didn't update the head models from the beta - so anyone who updated their character was still ultimately tweaking the same settings as they had originally, and it wasn't until 1.12 that they swapped out the old headmorphs for the post-beta ones across the board. In any case, it's just such a bass-ackwards way of doing it - meanwhile Monster Hunter just released a massive expansion (it's big enough to be a fully-fledged sequel!), including a whole load of new character customisation options. Except, unlike RDO, all those new settings (including new mouth presets, new eye shapes, etc.), the MH team at Capcom didn't replace the existing ones to do so! Nope - they just added half a dozen new variations to a bunch of settings on top of the old ones (and gave everyone a free appearance change voucher, like RDO), but your character remains unchanged if you don't do anything, and all the old settings are still there even if you do tweak anything. That's such a better way of doing it, clearly - and I don't understand why R* didn't do the same. And IMO, it wouldn't hurt for them to ...just add the old ones back in as well as keeping the new ones, and give players a whole lot more choice/scope for character customisation. No game was ever made worse by adding more options, after all - but I can think of plenty that just weren't the same after something got added at the expense of something else...5 points -

No piece-by-piece access for the role outfits means I ain't gonna buy a single one of them, which is a shame because there's a lot of nice components spread out amongst them all. I bought a few premades from the catalogue just to fill the saddlebag slots when we could only have three custom outfits saved but now that those days are over, so are my days of wearing anything I didn't put together myself.5 points -

There appears to be no offline version of this launcher. I have two versions of GTA V installed. I tried to roll back the executable to the one from yesterday (before this last update) so I could use scripthook today for single player. No dice. I can resume download or I can cancel launching the game. What the f*ck is this? Unfortunately I no longer have the old launcher. Good sh*t. I had yet another version on a different PC. I may have rolled it back too far and negatively affected my hardware.5 points
