Here's the idea, You first start out in Vice City playing as a mobster doing missions involving illegal dealings with two associates. After 10 or so missions the guy you thought was the main character is killed by a traitor in the ranks and the associates split and go to different cities thinking they'll be killed next. 15 years later you play as the first guy's son in Vice City who's a hot-headed gangster who wants to find out who killed his dad and make a reputation on the side.
The 2 associates from 10 years before are in LS and SA respectively are at first doing there own thing, you know a few missions to do but soon hear about the gangster in VC making a rep for himself and recognize him. All the character's stories start to intertwine in a way.
The character's most of the time will be doing missions in their own cities which can affect the other characters in a way.
Example: Protag 1 has to hijack a jet and steal some stuff from it before parachuting out and letting it crash somewhere in the Alamo Sea where Protag 2 in SA can do a mission where he goes to the bottom of the sea and takes some parts from that exact jet and uses parts to create his own customized jet.
But also they will meet each other and have missions together. Example: All 3 protags are tricked into going to a drug deal in the southern part of LS that's really just a set up and they have to gun their way out.
Freddie Martin- Hot headed gangster trying to find his dad's killer. Part of an uprising gang in Vice City called The Vice City Devils.Son of Tony Martin.
Duncan Harlow- Glasgowian psychopath who used to work with Tony, Freddie's dad mostly supplying weapons and stuff for the mob he was a part of. Now lives in Blaine County working with the other local pyscho, Trevor.
Natalia Martinez- Former bank robber from VC who now lives in LC after the death of her friend, Tony Martin. She mostly does small time stuff nowadays but after hearing about Freddie in VC, she might just get sucked back into the game.
Example of Mission:
'Snitches get Stitches':
Tony and Duncan have heard about a police informant who is going to snitch about their arms dealing operation so they have to shut him up. He is in a police escort van trying to leave VC. First you let Duncan cause a roadblock with a dump truck before blowing up the front half of the van with a grenade before kidnapping the snitch during the ensuing chaos and escaping the cops. Tony and Duncan then transport the snitch to HQ where you can choose the way you can kill him.
