I really can't understand how people think selling all their shares and then buying them again makes any difference... I just don't get it.
Has half of earth's population seriously become this stupid?
At the start I bought 1 million dollars worth of shares because that's all I could afford, I made a lot of profit from that, I then sold those shares and bought 25 million dollars worth of shares, compared to my 1 million at the start, and it's still rising like a mother f*cker. More shares=More profit. No?
Are you really this thick? Let's say you bought 10,000 shares worth 1 million. Those 10,000 shares became 25 million. So if you sell and reinvest with 25 million, you get 10,000 shares again. Or even less shares if you wait a little longer.
You're assuming that I am buying the exact same amount of shares again...
You know what college boy it doesn't matter, I'm still making fat stacks
So you're going to buy less shares??? That would make you less money lol
If you buy more shares where is the money coming from to do that??
Now if you make some money outside the market and want to also invest that it would make you more money, but that's a whole different topic.
Let's use simpler numbers. If all you have is $2 to your name and you buy just 2 shares of a stock at $1 each, you just invested $2.
The price of the stock goes up to $2.
Now you doubled your investment and can sell and have $4.
If you reinvest that $4 into the same stock *at $2/share still* you are back to 2 shares
you gained nothing by doing that.
Doesn't take a freaking college degree to figure out some simple math.
