Should I explore the map first and free roam before I dive into the first missions? I want to make money and have some decent amount of ammo etc. I want the map revealed and all areas uncovered. Is this a good idea?what have you guys decided on? Any tips? I just want to explore the oceans too....HELP!
I would love to talk on ideas and what to expect to buy and sell from Shopkeepers in GTA V!! I think GTA V will feature a lot of buying and selling. So think in the style of RDR!! But what can we sell and buy or find? We know there will be treasures to find underwater, such as sunken ships which can contain hidden money and useful items. But like what? Could we sell these items? Or are they just for personal fun with no value. Could we find treasure maps that lead us to sunken ships?
What about on land? We can hunt animals, but for what the purpose? To sell there skins/furs?. What about robberies? Home invasions, not sure if that's confirmed. If so, what could we steal and sell to the shopkeepers? What can we find though out the entire map? What about hidden packages, what will these be? Basically everything RDR offered, but modern day items. So I ask can what can buy and sell and find? Obviously guns, but that's a separate store, as well as clothes.
Here is a snap shot of the pre order bonus. I though of this because of the shopkeepers would have special deals. #3.
Anyways if this topic useless and has been discussed, please lock.

I love Red Dead Redemption! I recently started to play it again to pass the time. It amazes me to this day the hard work and dedication R* put into making this. Such a great game. I really felt like I was in the old west at times. While playing RDR, I started to think where R* should go next in the open world game. Then it hit me.
Yo ho yo ho a pirate life for me!!!! Why not? If we can be a bad ass gta gangster, destroy sh*t, steal, cause chaos etc, why not the same as a pirate??
R* should turn back the clock a few hundred years or so...lol, and do a pirate themed game. I'm a huge Pirate fan. I love the history of that era. I love everything related from movies, book, and games!!! Just imagine RDR set in the Caribbean, only no horse, but a ship with a full harty crew and hunting down cargo and merchant fleets full of treasures!!! Think about that and what R* could do with a pirate themed game.
I been playing Uncharted Waters: New Horizons for the snes too and I enjoyed Sid Meires Pirates, maybe that is where I got the idea from. Anyway, I would like to hear your guys thoughts??
