That's the difference between Michael and Trevor. Michael is smart.
The Merryweather Heist was planned by him. He certainly is not dumb. The fact they didn't get any cash from it is another story.
Compared to Michael he is. Trevor is driven by his crazy little mind, lacks the ability to judge his owns decisions and can't balance pros and cons.
I agree. He is very impulsive and always ends up in stupid situations which could have been avoided, but under all that madness and anger, there is a brilliant mind. Call me crazy, but I think he might be even smarter than Michael.
BBQ RIBS, that was a really stupid statement. I'm not a fanboy, or anything like that, but even though Trevor is a psychotic idiot, he clearly has a brilliant mind.
He figured out that Michael is alive and figured out that Brad isn't in jail. That's already a sign of him not being stupid. Michael though is an egomaniac, who thinks that he's the only one with good ideas from the team... but in reality, he's just a crying asswipe, who betrayed his friends.
Since Sasqui didn't leave a "What if...", I'll make one.
What if Amanda was one of the conspirators in Michael's heists and was killed in North Yankton instead of Brad?
Though that's highly unlikely, probably the story of V would revolve around Michael, Trevor and Brad taking revenge on the FIB/law enforcement goons, as Michael has strong ties with Amanda, even though in V, she simply became a complete pain in the ass...
It would make sense. But considering how Michael had Tracey and Jimmy already, the probability of just bailing from criminal life and trying to take care of his son and daughter is high too. This gives lots of possible plot ideas, like taking control of Trevor, or Brad as protagonists.
