LOOTING
 
GRAB HIS WALLET FOOL, GRAB HIS WALLET.
 
 
FEATURES:
 
-Pedestrians don't drop money anymore when they die, you have look for it by crouching to grab it.
-You can't get money from the same pedestrian twice (ya'll better appreciate this sh*t because it was hard as hell to find a workaround for this).
-Regular pedestrians don't have that much money.
-Prostitutes and criminals hold more money than regular pedestrians.
-Dealers give the same amount they would give when they drop money pickups (between 1500$ to 4000$).
-Gang members usually don't hold that much money either, but sometimes they surprise you.
-Cj says his lines while taking people's money.

Awesome, can't wait to reap the hookers since they hold more money than regular peds, they been ripping us since 2004. Time for payback!

Nice idea but I didn't like how the mod was made. It removes money from all peds, this breaks all the mods that work with ped money.
And you randomized the money using values 10+ times bigger, I don't like this, it makes the game even easier.
 
It's better to delete all the money pickups. You can learn how to get and control the pickups here (GTA3script). See bellow for a real solution.
Then, read CPed+0x756 (2 bytes) to get the actual ped money instead of randomize it.

Then, read CPed+0x756 (2 bytes) to get the actual ped money instead of randomize it.

 

I understand what you mean, however i don't agree with the values, usually a pedestrian tends to have from 0 to 100, which is what i gave them, a gang member can never have more than 500, which is what i gave them, and i have experienced times where a dealer has even more than 4000, however i limited to that amount, it was not random or 10+ times bigger.
 

With that aside, i'd read some more to improve upon what i did

In fact:
0-24 for normal peds.
20-69 for rich peds.
You used 0-500 for gangsters, but gangsters are just 0-24.

I thought you used 0-500 for normal peds. In fact you only ranged with the pedtype, originally the game uses popcycle to vary. Also a rare chance for 400.
And will only create pickups if >= $10
 
Dealers have always 2000 (wow, it's more than I thought). Is set by main.scm.

0A8C: write_memory 0x4590F0 size 1 value 0xC3 vp 1
This will disable money pickups from dead peds.
