Hello, so I recently started playing GTA V Online again and I noticed that while driving I get major stuttering and I just can't play properly. When I first started playing GTA V about 2 years ago I never experienced stuttering so I don't really know why I'm having it now. I have a pretty bad laptop but I run the game on 45-50 fps despite the whole stuttering thing. Any ideas what I could do to stop it from ruining my gameplay or is there nothing I can actually do?

My specs are

Video card: GeForce 840M

CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-5200U CPU @ 2.20GHz

RAM: 4GB

Well, Online is more demanding than just V. Try monitoring your CPU/ GPU load while experiencing the stutters and go from there. It won't hurt to check if you have something running in the background, because you're using "U" CPU which is dual core and Online in populated lobbies is very CPU hungry. GTA V is one of the games that may benefit dramatically over quad-core and more threads. I personally experienced significant improvements in populated lobbies after jumping to i7 from i5 on PC.
