If you wish, you can try, and attach the water file edited by you, and I will test your edition.

Reversed makes more sense, you post content of your water.dat and i say what's wrong
But i give you a water.dat to show you
Important: x and y coords must be must be divisible by 4.0

Example:
start at game center, at 0.0 0.0
so one corner at x = 0.0, y = 0.0
one at x = 4.0, y = 0.0
one at x = 0.0, y = 4.0
and one at x = 4.0, y = 4.0

below the test water.dat, replace whole content of water
find 2 water cubes ingame at Grovestreet

Hi, what's up?

I have reviewed on the Internet, even in this forum, topics on how to 'add water' in other areas of the game, but ... although I find how to do this, I continue without success, I know that this is possible, as did with Gta underground, but is there another way for it to only be with Gta SA?
 
Use the Water Script v1.0, "created" by Gforce, and ocram, but even importing, and exporting coordinates, I do not get what I need, does anyone have any ideas? Thank you.  :facedesk:

The water script for 3dmax works fine for me
import orig gtasa water.dat creates a lot of flats
for export you need to select first all flats

Yes, I know that.
But in my case, when I export a new water coordinate, the game is blocked, or it just creates a water texture.
If you wish, you can try, and attach the water file edited by you, and I will test your edition.

I tested your code, and the result was the same.
I will show you below, a url with the images.
I was using the Map Editor of sa-mp, and the water only shows the texture, and at some distance, it disappears, and a distance later, it crashes my game.

SA-MP: Maybe your issue lies there? Try it on vanilla SA (Single Player, SA-MP is a mod which might be incompatible with other mods such as yours).

Although ... In any case, I will try something, I will extract a piece of water, I will add it in my Gta Single Player, and see if it works, otherwise, I will add my water code here, and so you can tell me in which failure.  :blush:

Just out of curiosity ... Did you add a new piece of water, or did you just move water from another place, to CJ's house? (ZAZ)

I was testing, and I think I can only add water that already exists.

That is, move existing pieces of water, which already exists in the game, I can not add new water, because the game crashing. (At least I think)

i made 2 new cubes from scratch, your screenshot shows that it works for you

Right, adding the two lines to origin water.dat was buggy, import/export by water script of origin water.dat let game crash
 
Then i noticed that the last 6 lines of origin water.dat have only 3 entries, i mean, as like as entries for 3 corners

when i keep the 6 strange lines and replace line 301 and 302 with the mod water lines it crashes (or it was buggy, can't remember)

 

Also, the water script export these 6 strange lines as entries for 4 corners

i don't understand that secret, they let the game crash, without it works

i had a look ingame for that,
