For example, when you download  a car mod, and it comes with paintjobs, e.g (buffalo1.txd, etc.), can modloader load those paintjobs?

Or you really need to import the paintjobs manually to gta3.img?

They should work fine when the game supports them (Other mods that add map parts for example work fine).

No, it replaces original cars.

To be more specific:

I downloaded a car that replaces Buffalo.

Unfortunately, Buffalo does not have paintjobs.

So, that car mod I downloaded has buffalo1.txd, buffalo2.txd.

It's not a paintjob for added cars like lambo1.txd etc.

buffalo1
and buffalo2
he will not read
change to buffalo
paintjobs have only rodvailers and sports cars
must be textures and model
buffalo.txd
buffalo.dff
it's a replacement for this model of a car that has paintjobs
for example, elegy

Yes, you can add paintjobs through modloader. I have some modded cars that way.

Yes, they can be added. But seems like nobody told you not all the paintjobs are compatible with specific vehicles..Sometimes they may be white.

Yes, modloader can load paintjobs just fine.

Also why cant you just put them in and see if it works? Its not that hard to do and would only take a few minutes, certainly faster than making a thread here.

You do not know what's going on :sarcasm:

it will explain something to you
the game has locks
Service vehicles can not be painted in a garage with paintjobs
for an ambulance
Police
fire brigade
2 here is not about simply painting the vehicle only with special painting
special painting you only have in the tuning garage
there are probably 4 paintjobs
3 you can also give paintjobs to the vehicle without entering the tuning garage
special paintjobs
with this opcode check your car paintjobs
0988: get_car 0 @ paintjob 1 @

and you set paintjobs
06ED: set_car 0 @ paintjob 0

-------------------------------------------------
normal color car
and now compare these function opcodes
0229: set_car 0 @ primary_color_to 11 secondary_color_to 0
0A11: set_car 0 @ tertiary_color_to 11 quaternary_color_to 2
