Importing to 3ds max causes error

Hey, so I've been wanting to export a model from a mod that a person gave me to do some slight changes to it and tweak up some things, though when I attempt to export the model itself, I'm greeted with this error:

I've exported many models before and never had this problem, I'm not sure what the problem is.
I got only sent the .ytd, .ydd, .ymt, .yft files, I put them into OpenIV through edit mode and then I exported them to get this error, I'm not sure if this is what I'm doing wrong, Thank you!
 
If need more info, etc. Let me know!
