Net revenue grew to $480.8 Million, an increase over the $476.5 Million which was reported during the same period last year. Recurrent Consuming Spending (Microtransactions) grew 64% year over year with Grand Theft Auto Online being the largest contributor. Take-Two Interactive also confirmed that Grand Theft Auto V has now shipped over 90 Million worldwide across all Platforms. A total of 5 million copies shipped in the last Quarter and 15 Million copies shipped throughout 2017. That is more than most new games released in 2017.
Future Updates confirmed for GTA Online
2017 was the most successful year ever for Grand Theft Auto Online. With more shark cards than ever being purchased and more players Joining each day. Due to the release of the Doomsday HEIST, December 2017 had more players than any other month since the release of GTA Online in October 2013.
