Is it possible that they are being very quiet only to have a crazy massive reveal at the Super Bowl? For a few million dollars they could showcase the game to 100s of millions of people who never had exposure to it before and probably would be more than worth it. They could just do a Super Bowl and then a few things on their news wire up til the release date and that could be their entire marketing campaign.

I don't really see that happening. The only way it shows up during the Superbowl is in a sony commercial because of the marketing deal they have it probably gets included in a montage along with other games for a PS4 commercial.

Either way it's unlikely.

Deja vu to this time last year.

Seriously though, who knows, it'd be an odd way to start their promotional campaign given that not only is a Superbowl ad not cheap but it also means you're directly competing with two dozen or so other 30 second TV spots at the exact same time and Rockstar seem to try and time their stuff so they have the spotlight on them and only them.

Its not like people are going to forget it if theres a badass trailer like the second trailer. I think it could be very likely if we dont get any info in Janurary or first 3 days before super bowl in February.

Superbowl commercials tend to leak sometimes I don't think R* wants to risk that as well.

there's probably no money left for advertisement, 'cause it's getting expensive: being on the other side of the courtroom on the defensive

Unless of course you've got a release date. That's a hell of a lot of viewers to tell when your game is coming out, hence why God of War is likely getting one. Of course it all hinders if the game is releasing this spring...

Super Bowl spots for games and movies generally don't leak so no worries there but we would see a tease or announcement before hand.

Would be cool if sometime after tomorrow they send out a tweet like 2/4 6:30 pm @patriots v @vikings(or whoever wins tomorrow) and have a picture of the red logo with that.
