Most.

GTA IV when I went for 100%. It took me roughly about 2 months.

Least.

GTA V. I beat the missions in about 10 days and that was including exploring in between. Normally it takes me two weeks or so to complete the missions, but GTA V just felt too short.

Took me awhile to get through CTW even though the story isn't too long. Kept getting distracted with side missions.

V didn't get too far from the starting line with me. After you're done that awful Merryweather Heist the rest of the game is a blur. Only time it slows down for me is when Michael and Trevor are in Sandy Shores together.

GTA SA - It took me around 2 months to complete on release back then. Still takes a month to finish this outstanding game. So addictively fun!!!

GTA IV - It took me around a week or so before I got bored and took a break for around a month or so, spending around an hour to force myself in playing the game part by part, until finally, after 5 months, I finally saw the end credits. Phew!!! It took approximately 50 hrs or so in total (overall) but spread over time. A very short period to complete a gta game, so far.

The only GTA story I've ever completed was Vice City and that was with cheats on.

Most is probably GTA San Andreas since it was long and I started it during spring semester. I think it took me 3 months, and I played the last 2 missions on an airplane of all places.

Shortest was either Vice City and V. I beat both within 3-4 days.

Most: Vice City, about 4 years.

Now the thing you gotta understand is, during my first playthrough of the game, I was about 8 or 9, so I was pretty much just messing around. I'd do a mission here and there, wait a few months, do another, and so on. So roughly 3-4 years. Now, I'd be able to complete the game within 2-3 days probably.

Least: I dunno, since I don't usually play missions consecutively.

GTA IV = 5-6 months, because I didn't like the game and quit few times. Eventually I returned back but after completing main story I didn't bother with %100 completion.

GTA V = I completed main story in 3 weeks, also I spent another week for %100 completion.

Probably Vice City, that was the only game my PC could run back then and I just replayed everything again and again. Started speedrunning it a few years back so it just adds to it.

Least: III - I can't just bring myself to complete it.

When you say complete, I'm just gonna assume you mean 100% completion.

Most: Vice City

It's a bit unfair to say because my most recent (and tbh only) playthrough I've put on hold, so I haven't actually completed the game. The gameplay itself is very different from the likes of San Andreas or GTA IV; I found a lot of the missions quite intense and difficult because of it. I eventually just ended up using cheats. There was also those few times I spent hours driving around listening to the music, so there's that.

Least: GTA V

Such a huge map, but suprisingly not a lot to do. The Stranger and Freak missions are usually just "have a bad drug trip" or "pick up stuff". The Random Events are just "someone stole mah wallet". An entire blob of percentage is dedicated to winning some minigames. It's boring. I'm not saying that a lot of other GTA's were better, but compared to others it got old quick. I mean, Rockstar probably knew this themselves as you didn't even need to everything in the game to achieve 100%. I finished the entire thing in like 5 days of accumulated playtime.
