WTF is the mobile site for gtaforums?

Best Answer Am Shaegar, 4 weeks ago

But, what browser are you using on the phone?
Firefox for Android has no option.
Chrome for Android has the option.
Opera Mini for Android has the option.
UC Browser for Android- not really sure. I think the option is missing, since I used to clear history, and stuff, in order to get the mobile version of the site back on refresh. I could be wrong though, since I have stopped using it long time ago. Go to the full post

I am on my fone and wanted to find "my content" which is under your name on the full site. Couldn't find it on the mobile site so I clicked the link to "request the full site" and now that I'm done I can't get back to the mobile site. I looked over the whole page, even tried m.gtaforums.com and other varients.

Where the Fook is the link for the mobile site?

At the left bottom of the full site, right above the GTA Network links, there should be an option to switch back to the mobile website. It's by the Change Theme link.

I don't see it. I even opened up the theme menu hoping it was there but it's not. Sooo frustrating.

It should show next to orange rss icon at the bottom. If it doesn't try changing to another theme first.

My mobile "desktop" version:

Spoiler

So on my computer, there's no way to change to mobile version, but on mobile using the same theme, it is. Maybe OP is trying to do this on a desktop? I'm not sure if this is for everyone, I've disabled addons that might block it, but even that is not the case here. Using Google Chrome on both. Changed theme to 2013 and back, no luck.

I don't think this is possible on a desktop unless you spoof your user agent or other similar things.

Not sure, that's why I ask if OP is trying to do this on a desktop, hence, not seeing the option to get the mobile site.

It seems to be a Firefox issue. I don't have the button on my end, either. It is there if I use Chrome however.

Inspect Element, and change skin ID to 2, then select the theme :p

Got to the homepage, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page, click on "use mobile version" that's located in the bottom left corner next to change theme, just like Titania showed you. Really can't make the instructions any clearer than that.

Reading comprehension is key. Please do pay attention to what I'm writing, it just doesn't get any clearer than that....

THERE IS NO LINK FOR MOBILE VERSION ON THE BOTTOM LEFT OR ANYWHERE ON THE PAGE.

I swear it's like playing with randoms here sometimes.

I like how you think being a c*nt is gonna get you any help.

Your question was where is the link. You've been told where the f*ck it is.

I mean you could state what phone/os/browser you're using or some actual useful info if you want accurate help.

Or feel free to keep bitchin about a 1st world problem that you caused yourself.

Also, are we gonna act like this isn't a certain pbm or did someone give him a 15th chance?

You're thick. I stated in the very second post that there was no link on my page. Your response r.e. "it doesn't get much simpler than that" is what got you that reply. Don't be a turd and you wont get turds. Duh.

I'm using Firefox on the phone, that explains it then. Thank you. I checked my PC at home (also running Firefox) and it's not there, either.

I was able to get the mobile site back on my fone so life is good. Not sure how, but I was just about ready to delete all the temp data from the fone to try and re-set it. Good timing.
