My minimap isn't working properly. It show icons and players but no actual map or roads.

Have already reset the game more than once and it's still doing it.

Anyone had this or know a fix for it?

Check your settings. Theres following options: full minimap or just blips.

Do you have expanded radar enabled? Try disabling expanded. Then a few minutes later re-expand. This happened to me during a mission the other day.

EDIT: My mini map was in like a zoomed in state. So I might be misreading your problem.

If you press Start, and then go to Online menu, then Options, you can change your Minimap settings.  But the same thing happened to me, and it was because my Select button sometimes doesn't work properly, and I got stuck in Observer mode.  The weird thing was I never actually clicked on observer mode, so I'm not sure how it happened.  But it's damn frustrating when the Select button doesn't work.  I think it has more to do with the PS3 system software, then any hardware issues with my controller.  My PS3 controller is incredibly durable.
