Hey all-

So a friend of mine and I were discussing how unfortunate it is that some of the newer aircraft (particularly the Akula, but also the Pyro, Rogue, etc) have bright, colored markings on them that can't be painted over (the most obvious is the Akula's red star/number 27 combo, but the Pyro's yellow caution sign also comes to mind).

He submitted feedback to r*, and while I told him its a total waste of time, I figured I'd post here just to see what the community's thoughts are on this. Don't get me wrong, on some of the Akula's liveries I think the red star looks totally badass- I just really wish I had the option to paint the whole thing matte black- the red sticks out like a sore thimb.

These markings don't distrub me that much.
The Pyro's a bit annoying, since it renders when you're SO close to it.

Took me way too long to figure out that the title is meant to say ability

But yeah, I would like them to be a livery you can remove.

I agree it should have come in a livery. Its not going to kill me but the option would have been nice.

Why limit it to the helicopters and aircrafts only?

The badges on the sentinel classic triggers my OCD so bad, specially the STD on the grille(it should be smaller and sitting at the lower right side of the grille, like it is on the real car).

OMG I forgot about that but ya, absolutely the sentinel too.

I hope something can be done. It seems from here like such a simple fix.

Such tons of those simple fixes could be made.

They have literally never gone back and added mods to a car after it was released. I agree some debadging/shaving options would be cool however.

They can do it once they stop being lazy with minor fixes, like what they did with the Mamba.

They didn't add that however. It was always there, it just wasn't a selectable bodystyle. Was always in the files since that car was released. They remedied that by adding it to LSC, just like they added roof options for a few of the "convertibles". It just changes the bodystyle, it isn't an actual modification.

Far more important to be able to remove the navigation lights don't you think?

The red badges on the Chernobog can get the boot as well. Would have been fine if they were part of the liveries.

I made the red badges work for my own style. I don't mind them at all.

Read the post i made on page 48 in the DLC wishlist thread. It has to do with this. A DLC of refinement. Addressing lack of parts on cars, and things like this.
