Issue with handling.meta (ADD-ON)

I was playing around with handling.meta the values of:
nInitialDriveGears
fInitialDriveForce
fInitialDriveMaxFlatVel
fClutchChangeRateScaleUpShift

I set a very high value on the fInitialDriveForce for one of my add-ons, and now when I set back to normal nothing changes, neither does anything happen when I edit the value of another add-on's handling.meta file. Any advice?
