Hey everyone, i have a quick question about the ceo crates and vip work. I play the game about 2 and a half hours a day and I start the day by buying bunker supplies and coke supplies then i start sourcing cars and selling them, right after i sell a car i start the headhunter. I just wanted to know if its more profitable to grind ceo crates instead of doing headhunter between selling and sourcing vehicle cargo.

Answers will be much appreciated :)

I profited more on crates because headhunter pays 20 - 30k but if you buy at least 8 crates you will be able to sell it for about 120k so in my opinion crates are more profitable so if you have maximum amount of crates you will be able to sell it for 1 million or so

Why not do both? My method is:

1. Buy supplies from my bunker.

2. Buy 2 crates from CEO and collect them.

3. Headhunter/Sightseer.

4. Source a car and collect it.

5. Headhunter/Sightseer.

Rinse and repeat.

You can fit in both a crate run and Headhunter between car sales and sources. Source car, sell car, crate run, headhunter. Repeat from step one. There's a fifteen minute gap between the completion of your car sale and the next time you can sell a car so you can do each of those three things (crate run, headhunter and car source) in roughly five minutes each in between car sales. It may get really grindy after the third car or so so be wary. I personally just like to do Headhunter and an extra car source to fill the cooldown gap.

VIP work is quick-gratification money.  Takes 4-10 minutes for $20k-$25k (in a homing-armed air vehicle).  It's also low-risk: if a douchy player blows you out of the sky, you're only your medical costs and little else out-of-pocket.

Crates can be slow to fill a 111-crate warehouse, even if you source 3-at-a-time (unless you have associates that are earning pennies).  Those $2.22M deliveries are great for the bank account, but imagine one player using the orbital canon on you... and you're the one that lost more.

I/E (especially with a Cargobob and loading your warehouse so you only deal with High-End cars) is fairly fast and also relatively low risk.  Most of the time (without interference from other players) it's a reliable, solo, $80k/20 minutes.  Worst case: you bring in a badly damaged car ~$5000 and your $20k investment for delivery is vaporized.  $25,000 is your out-of-pocket, but you could have netted $80,000 with flawless transports (which is easy).

[email protected]$2000 each ($16,000)

4 pairs @ $3000 each ($24,000)

or triples for even higher per-crate cost?

For the roughly $80,000 you profited with 3-8 acquisitions and a sale, you could have done two car sales for up to $160,000

Personally, I'm over Crates.  I've got a silver trophy on my Office desk and made over $14M after paying for my Office, garages, warehouses, etc.

I/E with a Cargobob doesn't feel too "grindy" while I separate it with Headhunter, Sandking sales, and let my Bunker turn $90,000 into $268,000 while I do other things in-game, or even AFK.

It is all about time. Compare your average vip work time vs stealing crates (minus what you purchased them for), and there is your answer.
