My ps3 died on me. Had to get a new ps3. I took all my game data, saves, progress, etc from my old ps3 and put it all on a flash drive then put it on my new ps3. However gta 5 wont load any of it because it says I did not create this save file!!! Please help! How do I transfer all my progress and money for gta5 online to my new ps3. And yes Im still using a ps3.

For GTAO? All your progress is in Rockstar's cloud.

Yeah, GTAO is saved in the cloud. There is no save file to collect.

It's been a while since this has been brought up, but if I remember correctly you cannot moves those saves over using a USB flash drive because the saves are copy protected.

That's only for xb1 and ps4 games, xb360 games can be transferred via usb etc.

Yeah I don't think you can transfer files from flash drive
...might be able to do it through PS plus online storage (if you have a plus account) but that's probably not going to work either but might be wprth a try, but you would have to have the original file from the non working PS3

Sorry to say but I think it's back to the start
