Is there still anyway to upload custom crew emblems?

Best Answer brahmabull, 4 weeks ago

How do all the youtubers do it... Pyrealm.. bossftw ect... they have special privialges?

There are some wizards out there that can do some amazing art with the very limited objects at their disposal in the emblem creator. I imagine they got some of those skilled artists to do it for them.

Rockstar changed the way their emblem editor works, making tit impossible to do IIRC. Sucks 'cause I had a few ideas for emblems.

There is a way I personally use myself. Just search "GTAEmblem" and you'll find your answers.

Note: It isn't free.

I don't really see a prize if i'm not registrered and i don't wanna bother if it's too expensive so do you have the price? And is it a one time price or it it like a subscription?

Well I made my own in the crew emblem creator on the R* site in the end, but still eager to find a method of uploading a custom one made in photoshop, I have also been told by R* to write to the devs suggesting they implement and upload feature of somee kind & I suggest others do the same...

gtalogo.com

You can just press ctrl-shift-J in the emblem editor and paste the code there.

Also You could create your own svg images and do the same thing.

Ok thankyou, I may give that a look, but I have just seen the video posted by Brahmabull & I have considered using just the editor, it's much the same method I use when creating embroidery designs.. simply because I'm never happy with the automated process :)

quick update on my crew emblem... I've took a lot of tips from the video brahmabull shared, I have managed to create an image using just the tools in the editor.. one problem is the layers have borders on them if you lock them then save & reload the saved project.. however I have found a solution that will reverse this: load the project up unlock the layers, then save & load the project up once more & the borders should be gone, I have informed R* about both the bug & the solution & they want me to help them fix it..

I will have screenshots of progress at some point during the week :)

If you look at the site gtalogo you can see what's needed in the code to let you upload custom emblems. it's easy to convert png-files to the needed svg coded in base64. However you also need some info for the layers, svglayers layerdata. Which I don't understand how to get. Any good coders that can explain how to do this?
