LOL This has one of the fastest accelerations in the muscle class and is top tier on short technical tracks.

A little preface to this story. This is the first time I've ever owned two of the same vehicle in game, so I decided to make up a little story to go along with my second one like a few of you in this thread have done(with pictures of course), so here it is.

Ever since building my hot rod 1932 Vapid Hustler I had been looking for another to restore to stock, but it seems that the Hustler's popularity in hot rod culture has made unmolested examples rare to come by. As I was driving on the outskirts of Sandy shores I spotted an old dilapidated gas station and service garage, and inside were a bunch of rusting classic vehicles.

I stopped to take a closer look. Inside was a 1959 Declasse Voodoo, a 1965 BF Surfer and a 1957 Declasse Tornado, as a car enthusiast, these rotting classics were treasures, but I already had one of each of these vehicles in my collection, therefore none of them were the treasure I was looking for. As I got to the end of the row I noticed another car nearly covered by a bush that was growing out from underneath it. It was a Hustler!

Immediately I got my phone out and researched who this building currently belonged to, it was an old man living not far down the road, so I drove over to talk to him about purchasing the car. Turns out the man's dad, who was also the owner of the run down gas and service station when it was still in business, had bought the car brand new in 1932 and drove it until it broke broke down in 1940 and he could no longer fix it because he had an ever-worsening illness that would take his life shortly after. His son, the old man I was talking to now, inherited the business and the car, but lacked the business sense and mechanical inclination of his father and the business went under. The car remained broken and was eventually moved from their backyard and into the now abandoned garage of the gas station. At some point the original wheels got lost and some random wheels from a truck were thrown on just so it could be moved, these truck wheels are the same ones it had when I found it in the service station and had long since rotted and gone flat.

He refused to sell the car to me at first because of the sentimental value it held for him, and he told me that several other people had offered to buy it before me, who all got refused as well. It was only after I offered an amount significantly higher than the car was likely worth that he caved and sold it to me. I promised I'd take good care of it and send him updates on it in the form of pictures and the like, then hauled it home to be restored as faithfully to its original specs as possible.

Sorry for the double post, but this thread isn't very active and I'm impatient to post more pictures.

I took her out for a night on the town.

Excited from his successful runs on the Venturas Salt Flats, this Vapid Model H driver neglected to even wash the salt off, only change out his wheels and tires.

In fact I like how tight your build looks with all the chrome in the right places and expanses of black paint with no livery I'm gonna get another Hustler and copy it except I'll use crew pure black with no pearl.

Those are Chevy wheels imo, and I was hesitant to use them on a 32 Ford, but the traditional engine for a rod like that (after a flathead Ford) would be a small block or big block Chevy so Chevy wheels make sense. I pretend my blown Hustlers have an LS7 with a Jimmy blower and why not have chrome Chevy Rally wheels? Only my favorite factory rims of all time. https://www.google.c...ent=firefox-b-1

edit: Here's my motor (in my dreams). Wish we could chrome the valve covers.

Thank you very much. I think it's actually a purple with the red pearl. I wanted a dark colour but to have a pop. The chrome was a strategic thing as you noticed and I'm glad you did.

I see where you're coming from but they look kind of like wheels Dodge, Plymouth etc used during the 70's on a lot of models including the Challenger R/Thttps://assets.hemmi...000-0.jpg?rev=5< These. But I just love those rims on a lot of muscle cars or rodder style cars.

Would love the option to add chrome valve covers or hell just do more wild things with a lot of cars. But sadly Rockstar have wasted a lot of potential in this area.

I'm still confused on why Benny's wasn't utilized more to be really honest hah.
