Off topic here

your family had a tucker. Tell us you still have it?

No, let me clarify: my grandfather owned a '32 Ford coupe somewhere around 60 years ago. No one in my family has ever owned a Tucker, we just have a bit of an obsession for it (partially because our surname is Tucker - no actual relation, though).

I can however guarantee that a Tucker is in my #1 spot for post-lottery-win cars, but I digress.

Fair enough. My bad for reading something different. In any case we share a dream (as did Tucker ;) :) )

Back on topic. really want to see if this thing handles better than the hot knife.

After seeing a video showing all the customization options, I do have one complaint: there's no convertible option. I was really hoping it would have one, because I wanted to make a few convertibles and a few hard tops, but hopefully someone will eventually make a separate, convertible version for those of us fortunate enough to be on PC. Besides that, I really like all of the options. I'm especially glad we can remove the fenders without going through the bullsh*t that was required to remove them on the Hotknife, but I would have been shocked if that hadn't been the case. I can't imagine someone designing this and not giving us that option.

Just gotta wait for the scripthook to update so that I can try this thing myself.

This had better outperform the Hotknife in every way possible. It'll look fine as hell doing it. By the way, do we know the performance yet, or are these cars just substitutes using the stats of something else?

so happy about this and the Hermes. I'm crapping myself, blowing my load, toes curling, eye's rolling back and frothing at the mouth all at once, that kind of happy :catspider: :r*: :r*: :r*: :r*:

It's a day one buy for me. It already was, but now that I've tested it in SP, I want it Online now. Like, right now. It's very quick in a straight line, but it doesn't steer great, nor are the brakes insanely good. I'd describe the brakes and steering as managable, but not good for racing.

Yep, One of CJ's Girlfriends (Denise) had one with "Homegirl" on the plate. Fun little car :)

I'm definitely going to be painting this one a lot. So many good color possibilities.

I seriously need to learn how you guys do pictures like these. I know I've said it before. I just can't figure it out.

The one thing that bugs me about this(and it's also a problem with a few other vehicles) is that the textures inside the engine bay(most notably the firewall) are garbage. I understand with normal vehicles where you rarely see it, but with vehicles like this that have hoodless customization options and open sides they should make it a better texture instead of that pixelated crap. The majority of real life hot rods of this era just have a body coloured flat panel for a firewall, so they could easily do that instead of the pixelated texture.

Alright, last post until normal release (* I make no promises). I've finally started screwing around with settings in the Editor, and while it's nothing like the seasoned vets of GTA pictures, I've think I've made it look good. I've also figured out (I think) why my pics always looked pixelated: I had the refresh rate at 50hz. Setting it to 60 fixed it. If this makes no sense, then I don't know what fixed it. Color is Galaxy Blue.

Why doesn't someone try one of the Benny's exclusive rims on this since they're on PC? The hot rod types would look so damn excellent on the Hustler, Joonas maybe? ;)

Well, Scripthook hasn't been updated, so none of the trainers work. The only thing I'm running is a car spawner that works without ScriptHook. Believe me, I'd love to see the Benny's wheels on it.

I plan on making a few Hustler builds as soon as Scripthook gets updated, and I am definitely going to at least try some of Benny's wheels.

Easily one of the top 5 cars ever in the game for me. Need to watch a vid with a clear exhaust sound.

I think so far the only thing this is missing are the custom fenders option like the Hotknife has, instead of removing them completely. Other than that, this thing is perfect. I also suspect this, and the Hermes will be added to Benny's at some point in the future, no way would R* miss out on such an obvious opportunity.

Around the same level tbh, I can't pin-point which sound it derives from, possibly a deepened Monroe?

(btw mach this video shows the Hustler idle a few times)
