I've been going back and forth on whether i should get Hum or not but tbh i don't really understand what it does except letting me know when a problem is occurring or is about to occur.

So my question to you car guys, Do you think Hum is worth investing in?

Hum is a car expert so you don't have to be

Hard to say, depends on your skill i guess. I don't think its needed. Just check the basics of your car, maintain it well and it should work fine. If you hear odd sounds, you'll know somethings wrong.

Just get a Bluetooth OBDII scanner and use any smartphone diagnostics app e.g. Torque. No subscription needed, and no wireless carrier harvesting your data.
