Unable to start GTA V and Social Club

Dear people, 

 

I'm currently experiencing an odd problem with GTA V. I can't sign in to Social Club due to a code 202 error, saying that the update application is unavailable. When clicking retry, I receive this error:

If I want to log in to Social Club, I see a nearly blank page. See screenshot:

Does anyone knows the sulotion for this problem? 

 

I tried to following steps myself without results: 

 

  • Resetted modem 
  • Tried the 'reset netsh winsock' in command prompt
  • Tried the 'flushdns' in command prompt
  • Set the DNS server to 8.8.8.8 and the alternative server to 8.8.4.4. 

None of the above mentioned steps helped.

idk what's going on your side but it's only happening either in your region or in your pc, Social club and gta 5 work fine.

If you tried cleaning network errors in your pc then can be that supporting server for Social club in your area has malfunctioning connectrivity to main server (just a quess, wait till someone smarter gets here).

One thing i know from my own experience: mods do not kill the social club, it's separate client tied to game that always is showing you Social club status when connection is there.

Please anyone? I can't even send a ticket to Rockstar, as I can't sign in to Social Club...

same here, install Steam, add game to Steam, and play gta 5 by steam

seems like a pattern, you both are from same side of europe and im way over north-east, it's Social club server issue in south side of europe clearly

More likely to be an internet routing problem.

 

Assuming it is still a problem (these often self-correct within 24 hours as route failures are auto-detected and re-routed without the need for human intervention), try a tracert to socialclub.rockstargames.com

Yours will look completely different to mine (coming from the opposite side of the world as I do).

Chances are it will fail at a similar hop that both your ISPs are sharing. Call your ISP and send them the result.

Can someone please post a support ticket for me in the support section of Rockstar Games? I Can't even sign in to do so.. This is so frustrating.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work for me, as the game still needs to pass social club.
