I'm not sure what I'd switch it with, but the Warrener has always been too quiet, in my opinion. It has most of the hakosuka looks but not the hakosuka sound.

Torero was another audible let down. Needs to sound like a V12.

Replace the Osiris sound with the schafter V12, the real steel has a tuned AMG engine that sounds alot like the equivalent mercedes benz.

A lot of the muscle cars sound not Muscly enough, especially the Tampa. Some variation of the Mamba engine or something like that would be nice.

Beside those the Osiris. I sold it when the T20 came out simply because of the horrible sound.

Maybe consider the Franken stange sound for muscle cars? That's pretty much spot on to me

Cavalcade and Landstalker with the first gen Baller sound.
Voodoo with the Dominator sound.
Super Diamond with the Cognoscenti sound.

Sheriff cruiser with the first gen baller sound (last time I checked crown vics don't sound like my nans Dyson)
Sadler with either can is mesa sound or the ambulance
Cheetah classic with spectre sound
Futo with blista compact sound
Elegy retro with sound from stock sultan
Super diamond with sound from Pigalle
Sentinel with XA 21 sound (not sure if it's supposed to be an M3 or 330i)
Maybe T20 with XA21 sound too
Nightshade with franken stange sound or rat truck

Last one is just a vanity option for myself, clean surfer with comet sound to simulate a flat 6 conversion.

I hate the sound of the banshees.

It does sound similar to a real viper though, big V10 Wail.

It could be slot worse mate they could give it the futo sound 🤣

Just my opinion - the Shotaro should have an electric sound (maybe a hybrid), so >insert one of the electric cars here<. Of course, then the exhaust pipe would have to be removed too...

And I don't know if it's a Trevor-thing (I haven't started up the Bodhi Online) but that has a great roar when it turns over - 'would suit most of the muscles.

I've only ridden a shotaro when it was released and the transform races but other than that I agree with You, and the bodhi, that's the default start sound when it gets revved like Trevor does, I drive mine all the time, on my thing wrong with putting that sound in a muscle car is the obvious diesel rattle when the engine is idling.

The ">" indicates which sound the car should have:

These might not be accurate to their real life counterparts, but I don't care about it.

Blista Compact > Futo
Warrener > Elegy Retro
Super Diamond > Windsor
Stallion > IV Stallion
Hotknife > Franken Stange
Tampa > Rat Truck
Nightshade > Rat Truck
Penetrator > Turismo R
Dominator Pisswaser > Z-Type
9F(hardtop) > 9F(convertible)
Stretch Limo > Washington
Cargobob > Cargobob Jetsam
Buses(all buses) > Phantom Custom
Asea > Asterope
Osiris > Infernus

There are some more cars that could do with some different sound, but I can't remember right now.

I wish this game had engine swaps as a tuning option.

Quick question, what's the difference between the military cargobob and the jetsam one? They sound the same to me

Jetsam is quieter, start that VIP job where you have to airlift a container of Merryweather and see for yourself.

I would like that quieter sound on the military cargobob too.

Yeah I see what you mean now Jetsam is quieter than the Military one, when I play with headphones I hate flying the Military cargobob unless I turn down the volume so my ears don't explode haha

I trust me I know how loud they are, i was in the army and we were most often airlifted into combat zones in them, my god it's a glorious sound of that big heavy thumping of the blades, just wish the cargobob had a bit more oomph to it's sound, instead of sliding like that noise you hear when you leave coins in your jeans and you out them in the washing machine

Schwartzer should have a Schafter V12 sound so that I could finally enjoy it. Schwartzer looks are 10/10 but it sounds like a 4 stroke 125cc motorcycle.

You have no clue how wrong you are, that V12 sound of the Schwartzer is an accurate representation of a AMG V12.

It also sounds louder than the Schafter V12 does while accelerating

The car sounds in the game are good, they're just too damn low. Some of those super chargers should be roaring through the streets, drowning out the radio and getting you giddy. But I hope in the next game they really improve on the sounds and sound volume. I was oping when they released that Hotrod type car ages ago that it would sounds like an angry beast, but in stead it sounds like a fly farting inside a sealed bottle.

Yessss

I grew up in SoCal in the 60's, loud V-8s (not to mention what it sounded like when 100 Hells Angels on Harleys with no mufflers ride through town, that was my favorite thing when I was a kid).

Exactly! But to be honest even 90% of dedicated racing games can't do engine, turbo and supercharged sounds correctly. Though I'm grateful for the lack of a turbo whistle lol
