This is the best index, good to see it back!
Can you add radios to it?

That one works like a charm for me, after fixing up settings.ini to my taste. Plays local, I did not try any web streams.

Doesn't Advanced Track Player do the same thing, but probably better? Either way, I might add it.

How about adding descriptions for the mods that dont link to a topic/overview?

 

Like e.g. Adapted Unofficial Patch

No idea what that's all about and just a direct downoad link...

The Hero suggested to upload the mods on his server so we won't have to deal with dead links and the such. While at this, I suggested adding a description and some photos for each mod uploaded there, somewhat like GTAGarage does. I'll talk to him today about this matter :)

I have no idea man :D I got both ATR and SAOR but SAOR had less files in the archive so i tried it first, liked it and using it atm. Always good to have options.

Also to come with reasons as of why the old one was bloated:

> broken mods (sa render, sa gfx, 2 of izerli's mods, probably more)
> mods rendered useless by other mods in the same list (3rd anims mod by in45do, dynamic sfx by link, road reflection fix by silent, over 10 mods rendered useless by mixsets, probably more)

Feel like the index is empty? Help me and the community by linking decent mods and I'll add them.

I agree with quality vs quantity, it is a valid point. In my case for example, I got one traffic mod, I forgot which one it is, that makes the vehicles appear out of nowhere all of a sudden, as I am driving through SA.  Still sits there since I am testing few things before my ultimate mod pack selection for SA...but it will be removed.

Just not that mod.You have overlooked most the the mods.The previous index just didnt had links to some ad sites.It also did have plenty of good mods(gta garage or gta inside?).You may like your current mod index but always remember that everyones choices arent same.So its good to add most of the mods.

Remember, I am NOT going to bring back literally every mod from the old one. By overlooking that mod I meant that I forgot to add it when I was adding worthy mods from the old list. I am aware that I didn't include some of Junior's mods (and pretty much every MixMods mods) which fix a few bugs, and that's because MixMods didn't have non-linkshrink links, but now that they have them, I will add them soon. I just didn't have enough time to do that lately. Fun fact, I included one of them yesterday, that being Soft Particles, which is actually pretty cool :)

 

Like I said many times, you can always help me and the community by linking or pointing out a mod that needs to be added, like the Matthew dude did.

Check this out, proper collision on all fire stairs or fire exits or fire ladders however they are called, for SA this brings out a lot of more potential for exploring without using "Rocketman" all the time, definitely worth adding, oh and if it's a problem that the site is in russian, you can change the language on the top, is really well translated.
