A sniper rifle with explosive ammo.

A flying bike with homing missiles.

A bulletrproof helmet which isn't cosmetical only.

A car that's 85% bulletproof.

Jets with unlimited explosive ammo.

Lack of anticheat.

Removal of legit money.

Personal fighter jets/tanks/armed vehicles that you have to pay insurance for if you destroy them.

I'm glad that i quit this game.

Why the f*ck do people want GTA to be "more realistic"?! Why make it something it has never been? Its been rated M for Mature since the ratings system was invented, but because only mature people understand thats its satire and that its not to be taken seriously. Its has never been serious or realistic (except maybe IV). It has always been an over-the-top, silly, gratuitous, parody of hollywood movies. As for Rocket Bikes, do you really think that its impossible to build one? Its impractical, but nowhere near the realm of impossible. We have submersible airplanes in real life people.

yep and  a flying car has actually been built. I can understand not wanting things to get to wacky or out their but gta v or online in its 4 year run has never gone any where near saints row 3 type cartoonyness. sure we've had over the top things like power play and the  stunt races but those were well implemented with good gameplay mechanincs and its fun. I don't even see how  having things like technicals ,apc's  oppressors etc make the game similar to saints row but that's quite a few peoples main complaint.

Actual paid DLCs.

I would like this actually. The content will be more quality, and needing to have fun wouldn't be such a grind.

I don't know. For me it kinda screams "I have it and you don't, because you can't afford it."

Because no matter how expensive it gets it can still be bought without spending your actual money on it.

But its not "just a handful of wacky items" in the older games. Every aspect of those games is absurd. From the dialogue of the npc's to the missions themselves. The comercials on the radio, the products, the callers, the Australian/American war, Liberty City Survivor, Candy Suxx, vigilante mode, all clues that the player can stop taking everthing so seriously. Im not ignoring IV, I'm just not using it as this series definitive game. If I were, id be ignoring the 15 other games in the series. Back in the day, nobody called the first Saints Row a "wacky game in the vein of GTA" it was straight up a "subpar gta clone". Whats more outlandish, a jetpack or rocket bike? Neither. Google is your friend. Flying motorcycles and jetpacks exist. Drones are capable of missile strikes. All these technologies already exist, its all pretty much billionaire exclusive. If Vice City had 30 Tommy Vercetti's running around, it wouldnt be much different than GTA:O. Also, if people have such a problem with pvp, play sp. It's more "realistic" and will show all their friends and family just what a transcendent and mature video game player they are.

Just because GTA is satirical doesn't mean flying motorcycles fit into the atmosphere or mesh well with the tone. I don't really see how Candy Suxxx or vigilante mode fit there either, porn stars and police cars exist in real life.

Ah yeah... we'll have so much fun with SP that hasn't had anything new added to it since Ill Gotten Gains over 2 years ago now.

I don't get this Saints Row fixation... whenever a new gadget is added to GTA Online.. all the moaners say is Saints Row Saints Row Saints Row Saints Row Saints Row.... GTA Online is like GTA Online... but of course there are elements of other games in there too.. first thing I noticed was backing music when you had a wanted level or if you were on a mission... could be taken from the Driver franchise or maybe even Half life... R* were quite smart when they developed both V & Online.. they look at bits of other stuff that worked & implemented it & in some cases even improved it.. OK granted there are some thing that could be improved, but for the most part I find it enjoyable & I'm guessing many others do too... otherwise there would be less players on it, not more!

I'd rather do paid DLCs for the simple reason a paid DLC is a consumer feedback directly to R*.

This current macrotransaction model has insolated R* from any feedback from the consumer.  Thus, there are no consequences if they produce bad content.  The current model feeds content just to justify it's existence (read sells shark cards). There is no effort to advance GTA:O as a game.

Just keep priming the pump for cash card sales.  For this, I can't support the notion that 'it's still free.'

Free = content that serves another master rather than gaming.

While I do agree, partially, that paid content can be better than microtransactions but the game already has the latter.
And a game with both seems like the purest form of greed. See Also: Payday 2 and MGSV: TPP. At least Overkill removed microtransactions when people bitched enough about it but Konami still raped whatever was left of the MGS franchise.

But looking at it another way, new DLC announcement makes everyone grind the game even more to be able to afford the new content. If they had paid DLCs, we would have to save up irl money for it.
And some people probably do that. Save irl money for shark cards.

Half the problem with the Oppressor is that it just appeared, to buy. If it had been part of a mission storyline where you had to steal an experimental vehicle from the military base, or a vehicle built as a prop for a movie being shot at the studios, I don't think as many people who lament it currently for being "not in keeping" would be as bothered about it.

Eh, not necessarily. The 3D-era games pushed the envelope of 'plausible in the real world' with things like the jetpack in San Andreas, and I've noticed that long-term fans are actually pretty split over whether even that was a step too far.

But for the HD-era games, where R* spent a long time keeping things much more grounded in real-world tech, to suddenly throw in a flying bike from a sci-fi series, even with the excuse that 'some secret research facility cooked this up' to provide a flimsy attempt at context? Still a jarring lurch away from the rest of the game - heck, Saints Row III did that, and it was a controversial move for that franchise, too.

(and let's not forget, we do have to steal the Oppressor from Merryweather in Data Breach, so R* did attempt a perfunctory 'in-universe' explanation for it)

My only gripe with vehicles like the Oppressor is that they're overpowered, that's all.

I mean, 20 spammable and accurate rockets in a gliding bike is way overkill.

But it does give people a better chance at blowing hydras up or atleast escape from them... isn't that what people called for? or did I miss something... I will make another case the Opressor here.. it is an awesome tool for doing stunts & showing off :p

And jets are still far more of a problem than rocket bikes are

People just love to bitch and moan about rocket bikes.

Get out of the car and the Oppressor user lost his advantage. Jets can strife all day unless somebody with the explosive sniper is around

I hope batmobiles are not the norm. I'm going to buy it because reasons but damn... I'm a superman dude. I don't understand the psychology of the batman crowd. Like dude isn't even a super hero comparatively speaking. The bat is just a ninja with a bankroll. Boring.

IMO at least the Oppressor is actually plausible. Im not bothered too much about the over the top content in GTAO but it does annoy me to an extent. I enjoy having a gritty militaristic feel in my game, but some futuristic things are welcome. Some people even bitch about the Railgun (even though it has a legitimate reason, its experimental) when they could of bitched about the Explosive Sniper (which doesnt deserve to exist).

OT: Im hoping that GTA:O will never get an Adult Update where I can get raped by some e-gangster. Id legitimately drink bleach and die in real life at that point.
