Hai,

I've got SA on 1920x1080 resolution, 2DFX and some other mods (like new icons, weapons).

My SA looks like this:

w8vu6t.jpg

As you can see, it's a bit pixelated. Is it normal? (also, when i installed some little ENB by Robert, pixelation was gone).

I don't know, my new PC is crappy.

Specs:

Intel Core i5 2500s @ 2,70GHz

16 GB RAM

Asus GeForce GTX 680 @ 2GB

my monitor is some Samsung HDTV, '23.

It looks fine to me, I play it on a similar resolution to yours, but mine is at 60fps.

I play on 1920x1080 resolution as well. Your screenshot looks fine. I would recommend using Boris Vorontsov's ENB though. Using a different file might have fixed some minor visual issues.

I see what are you complaining, there's barely any pedestrians or vehicles on your screenshot? isn't it?

Forcing 8xAA through control panel might improve it a little (also use silentpatch). Mipmapping textures improves quality as well when also forcing 16x Anisotropic Filtering (otherwise it'll look blurry).

Install SilentPatch and then you can turn on actual AA.

Enable Sparse Grid Supersampling together with regular multisampling (8xQ + 8x) using Nvidia Inspector to calm down textures that don't have mipmaps, and increase redability of monochrome highway signs. If it the hurts frame rate, 4x should still give noticeable improvement. The number of samples must be the same in both properties. Off the top of my head, I don't know if that sign is supposed to be black.

SGSAA helps with most old games a lot, and usually doesn't cause any problems or look like an artificial effect.

I don't think you can do much for the sky that shines through trees. SilentPatch has a "two pass" rendering feature, but it results in crude rectangles of transparent trees being cut out.

I'm looking for some ENB, but not the "ULTRA GRAPHICS MMGE 2017 NEW!!!".

Can you recommend me some ENB's?

Its normal. On my laptop I play on 1366x786 and with silentpatch it only allows anti aliasing to x4 max...And it still looks Ok. Tried Robert's ENB and it gave me some great results, broken pixelated edges are 99% gone.

I recommend Robert's ENB 8.4. It doesn't even lag much.

Yeah, I tried this ENB some time ago, on my old laptop. I'll try to install it.

here's one method to get good reflections on cars (if that's what you want). Download and install mmge 3(install everything except the timecyc). Then open enbseries.ini and turn off the depth of field. I tried it and it was pretty good. No lags at all (coz i set my game at low sets) for me.And my PC is BS.

Well... it worked for me

heres my specs

RAM:2 GB

GPU:INTEL HD GRAPHICS FAMILY

INTEL CORE I3

but be warned! it was that one time! I setted the game into very low(including resolution) to at least get it work.PS: its better to use the windows 8 patch to open game with mmge 3. Who knows what might happen?

MMGE3 isn't even for gameplay and buggy af. Intel HD Graphics (iGPU) won't even run the game at more then 1 fps with that enb...

So you played with minimum resolution with MMGE3. I don't even know how weird the game will look like.

Use SkyGfx and 2Dfx together. That's the best graphic enhancer combination for SA, no issues at all and it still looks like original SA.
