I had a quick look at Heist Gone Bad the other night with the intention of using it for a crew event.

 

The bank works really well, no wanted level till you get in there and have to deal with the professionals and then that causing the wanted level when you leave. We only got to part 3 as my connection was playing up so trying to communicate with Chubb as we did it was very difficult. 

 

For ages I've wanted to do an Italian Job variation as a heist type of deal. I started trying various things on PS3 but never could quite get something like I wanted it, but looking at your stuff it's given me some ideas and I think I can make it work as a Co-Op thing. 

 

The Transform Races will hopefully be very useful as well to give the final stage, so after we escape in the Minis we can switch into a bus. 

 

Mission Creator to make Adversary Mode or Contact Mission style jobs would be the ideal, I've quite a few ideas but I'd really like them a bit more co-op or to be able to have one guy escaping, the others chasing. 

 

We can do it as an organised job with some planning and instructions, shame we can't have it a bit looser through more Creator options.

I created a race (well five actually) called the Italian Job on PS3. As they were done in the early days, I have checkpoints (and props) going through the underground, tunnels, etc. Shame they made interiors prohibited :/

My loose plan at the moment is:

 

Part 1: Point to Point, Race: normal race to deliver a Monroe with the ending in the tunnel under the observatory to simulate the point the Miura is wrecked.

Part 2: Capture: break into Bolingbroke to collect the plans from Bridger. 

Part 3: Stunt Race: silly stunt race to practice with the Minis before the job proper. In the film they crashed quite a lot, so it would have to be quite short and tricky, but trying to balance with making it so it's not too frustrating. 

Part 4: Capture: Deliver the sports cars to Lake Vinewood Estate (it's where we have the VANS clubhouse) and matches them having the isolated mansion they start the job from in the film. Hard point being getting past the Mafia to deliver them.

Part 5: Capture: Where we actually grab the security van then rendezvous with Minis to escape. 

Part 6: Capture : Escape through the tunnels with wanted level

Part 7: Transform Race: Race starting in Minis through the city, then switching to Bus on the freeway and then escaping over the hills.

 

Possible Part 8: Capture with the bullion in a bus which is hanging off a ledge somewhere.

That's a good idea on how to use the transform races as part of a get away sequence.

As for modeling content off of popular movies, originally I had a capture in the "heist gone bad" playlist modeled off the gun showdown scene in Reservoir Dogs. The showdown part actually came out great but I switched it out because I'm still trying to work out an issue with the respawn points after someone gets killed in the showdown.

Now you have me toying with the idea of creating another heist playlist. I like that transform race get away idea.

You may run into a problem trying to make this as a capture. There will be no points directing where players should go in the tunnels and your ability to place props in the tunnels is limited.

Also if someone dies while in the tunnels, the game defaults the respawn above ground. I haven't played around to see if there's a way to trick the game and get the respawn undergound.

If there are areas that are not completely covered in the tunnel, with some work, you can place actors in those parts of the tunnels.

I'm actually going on the creator now. I'm on ps4.

It doesn't have to be a normal race, it can be a GTA race. I made an Italian Job inspired race in the tunnels https://socialclub.r...ZgkqmPQy_3Bihgw

but also halted my capture plans because of the tunnels.

 

I wish I wasn't the only one posting jobs for pc in this thread (this is a cool thread and I want to play more than just the ones I make)

but here's one I worked on over the holiday weekend. I worked with a wide cast of friendly/hostile actors in this.

Is it competitive or not? No. Objectives are in the same area but sectioned off.

 

Description

Keeping up with the Jonses doesn't have to mean braining them with their own golfclubs on their way out the store. You can do that to complete strangers too. Get the best deals and get the gifts back to your house before the cops catch you.

I'm not even expecting them to at this point.They don't do much for the creator anymore.

I'm surprised we're getting Transformer creator. I'll be really surprised if it works.

The final capture in my Luxor Heist playlist involves going into Fort Zancudo. I haven't played it since they added the hangars. However, I don't think I'll have that same issue of players not triggering a wanted level when they go in there. I placed a couple of hostile actors in there so they should trigger the wanted level once players are in the vicinity of Fort Zancudo. I should probably check it though. But anyhow placing some hostile actors in there might solve the problem.

You should be OK doing that I think Steppin.

 

For the Italian Job idea on the Prison portion I have it so that there are a couple of hostile gangs in the exercise yard (where you go on Prison Break) and the guards ignore you until you get there and the other gang reacts to you. Then the guards get involved.

 

You would assume the same would happen in Zancudo.

Did you make any more progress Pwnage?

 

Yeah I have. It's in final stage; can't edit anymore because that stupid model memory has overflowed.

I have several other co-op captures created; I'll post them soon.
