How to fix stuck in menu and save file

Hello everyone, i have a trouble, when i open menu and back to ingame, i can't open Resume, New Game, Options, etc. So i open Task Manager and end process gtasa.exe. I need help!!

Backup your save file and reinstall the game.

Which Game did you buy?
IF there are any modifications installed, Remove them.

I'm assuming you mean that clicking does nothing. You can fix this through a few methods. Do them one by one until you find one that works:
1. Plug in a controller (even if you don't actually use it)
2. Set the affinity to CPU 0 (untick all but CPU 0) in the task manager for the game executable
3. Run the game in compatibility mode for Windows 98
4. Install SilentPatch

That's right, but if you're like me then you'll prefer to use mods only as a last resort.

That's right, but if you're like me then you'll prefer to use mods only as a last resort.


Right, I missed the fact you advised to try those in order.
