So unfortunately due to a glitch on Rock Star Games's side my characters rank was reset all the way back to Rank 1 (cue Nelson Muntz's "HA HA") & to add indult to injury, Rock Star said it was all my fault it happened & refused to restore my rank.

So I was thinking of sticking a fork in my GTA Online career & calling it done, & continuing crying myself to sleep everynight. But I thought maybe I should take 1 more stab at the game & ask the hopefuls at gtaforums.com for some tips before I call it quits. So basically I want to level up in the quickest way possible. Any ideas how I can? I really don't have much time to play the game as much as I would like to, I have other commitments, so any rapid fire ways?

There's double money and RP on Rockstar created Stunt Races this week. Take advantage of it.

Also crate work and VIP Work nab you some quite hefty RP.

Yeah, any double RP modes are good for ranking up.

Here we go:

Stunt races are x2 GTA. Play 4 in a row solo. Use this money to start VIP. Alternate between HH and SS.

Headhunter

cooldown 8 minutes

fast contact mission

Headhunter

fast contact mission

Blow up 3 for example. Start it from your office, ask your Buzzard to your secretary, blow up cars, go see Simeon, respawn, play Headhunter...etc

People always say crates are the best for TO. There is currently a x2 RP bonus for CEO associate pay/RP that they get every 15 minutes. Have any friends? Help them run some crates and always stay within the circle. Or go AFK with them overnight.

I forgot to mention as well as my rank I also lost all assets, including my office. I imagine it would take me a while to get a million dollars to buy the office back. & whats this head hunter activity? Does it take long?

No it's just a ~ 5 minute job that has you assassinate four heavily protected targets spread out over the city (always start this in LS, Blaine County is a bitch to do this at)

Pays 20-25k depending on how fast you do it and gets you 2-3k RP every run. You need to have at least 50k in the bank before you can register as a VIP and run VIP Work though.

Play double RP adversary modes. Also stay near your CEO to get proximity bonus.

Not to be a bummer but f*ck that. Man, if I lost everything I would pretty much ditch the game and become a hermit. My condolences. If you happen to be on X1 I'd be happy to help you out such as CEO/Biker work or anything else worth doing.

Rafae hit it right on the head: do CEO Work. Big thumbs up if you can get an empty public session so you can just play some music/a movie and grind away. It sounds like a boring task but if I had to go from scratch that's what I'd do. If possible, get a friend so Headhunter goes quicker, get things done as quickly as possible. Course, the double XP stuff is always welcomed and seeing it's limited time enjoy it to the fullest. What rank you trying to reach?

MTU 800 so you can get a solo lobby and start doing stunt races. Since they're time based, the more you f*ck around, the richer you get

I made a track that you can rubber band and drive around for 10 minutes during double RP races but solo.. you don't get much. I'm good enough that racing with people pays more during double RP.

1-30 is pretty easy, but it slows right down when you get to about 50, at one point it didn't think I was going to get out of the 60s, not only do double rp stuff, but waste no spare time loitering around los santos.

once I hit 120, I slowed down being bothered about levels as all was unlocked through lvl up

what level was it reset at?

Headhunter and sightseer.

Both really easy and both surprisingly good rp.

Use Jimabtrons lone wolf method and make a good amount of cash too.

Aside from that, when decent x2cash/rp weeks come out, grind like hell.

Thanks for the sympathy & kind suggestions. I would take you up on that offer but unfortunately I'm on the PS4 side. I'd say at least level 60 is what I'm trying to reach, at least that seems like somewhat of a credible rank to me. Also thanks to everybody else for all the great suggestions.

Except the tryhard little pre-pubescent kiddes who want to play bumper cars and take advantage of catch-up. Oh, and don't get me started on lag switchers whose car weighs that of a Vigilante's.

Keep your eye on this Orange Nero scum:

Ok So I've been doing stunt races for the past hour & made it from level 8 to level 14 but I agree with the above post. The stunt races are littered with cantankerous road hoggers who use custom vehicles which put me at a huge disadvantage. This is not going so great for me as I expected.

If you want to play the game I would go with whatever activity is paying 2X RP that particular week. Crates also do good RP if you enjoy that kind of play.

If you just want to do it fast and have a friend join his CEO and sit with him in his car and rubber band your controllers overnight.

I'd really like to do the crate thing or even the rubber band my controller & leave it on for a few hours but I have no friends to do it with :(

Crates are best done solo anyone. I had to stop doing crates because I was ranking up too fast and I didn't want to hit lvl 500!

When I first started out, Parachuting helped me rank up pretty quick to the level that unlocked Coveted followed by Rooftop Rumble. This was 2014.

I suggest to join the Perfect Heist crew so you can do Pacific Standard with reliable people which will help you level up in no time. Other then that it's crates with headhunter in between.

Yeah, if they(you) have multiple warehouses, you rank up quicker than a fat guy eating donuts.

My suggestions(only read a few posts tbh);

There's one afk method going around that you can do by yourself but it's not that great but it's something. Get like ~10k an hour. Only really good if you got sh*t to do around the house or something.

Land a buzzard on a roof and keep firing rockets. You gain 2 stars, lose them, regain them, etc.

I'd suggest, if you do it. Get someone in invite only who is high enough level to spawn one at the airport.

If a friend wants to take advantage of it as well, be his associate and do it together in the same buzzard for bonus RP and SecuroServ paying you. Although, they'll be paying for whatever properties they have.

For quick cash, get a friend to host Fleeca with you and see if they'll do a 70/30 split. Buy an apartment and then take turns rotating the heist.

Edit

Just thought..

You're on PS4, if you want to, you can find my PSN on my profile.

I'll be more than willing to run a playlist of jobs while you're afk or something.

I don't mind.

Also if you are immune to boredom , crystal 3 on a playlist with 4 players makes big RP, finish the mission just after 4 minutes.
