User track player on PS2?

I remember when I was a kid, I was at my cousin's house playing the game with him and he had some custom songs in the game.

I might be remembering wrong, and it could have just been a real life radio and not the in-game one. Also, I don't think it would really be possible to stream music from a memory card unless the bitrate was incredibly low, and even then I don't think you could store that many tracks on a standard 8 MB memory card at once, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

So is this actually possible? I'm Googling around and nobody's really talking about it.

I know there was a user track player for San Andreas on Xbox due to the harddrive but I don't think it was available for playstation

Ooh, now that you mention it, I think it was an Xbox. Mystery solved, I guess.
