If I had to guess, small. It's nowhere near the size of a Hydra.

I will compare its size with the hydra and the Vestra next time. But I share your opinion, tbh

The pic above me shows a Pyro with livery, no? Can we have a little showcase about these, please?

Damn; I may get one just for the livery options!

$3,350,000.  25%-off would make it worthwhile as a "fun" purchase at about $2.5M

Does anyone know how fast this is in comparison to other aircrafts?

I love those two "Phantom" liveries, they're like the lowrider liveries, but on a plane. That being said, I prefer my vehicles to be as authentic as possible, so I doubt I'll use them.

It's a Venom and a Vampire crossbreed, but I honestly think it shares too many similarities with the Molotok, both have non-explosive cannons, and the option to get missiles/rockets.

As for the ordeal about explosive cannons, I don't see the issue, the Lazer & Hydra, like their real world counterparts, have 20mm cannons and are multi-role. The Rogue is based on the Tucano which is made for CAS and to take out smuggler planes. The Molotok & Pyro are old as balls (50s cold war fighter aircraft). I honestly think the Molotok should have gotten slow RoF explosive cannons and barrage rockets, and the Pyro just explosive cannons (I don't believe they gave it missiles). The Savage wouldn't be what defines it without the explosive minigun. But non explosive miniguns still blow up aircraft in less than a second so I don't get how much of a difference it would make explosive or not.

The only reason I still do smuggling runs is for the rare occasions I can fly this baby.

Here she is with a fellow Brit:

Finally got to fly one yesterday in a sourcing mission, seemed quick and manoeuvrable and i like the design could do with cannons though.

^ Good pics :)

I've only gotten its sourcing mission twice, but it's worth the wait.

It's an astonishingly beautiful aircraft and I'm definitely going to get one.

Same here. I've done roughly 30 of them by now, and I still have yet to fly the Pyro or Nokota. It's kind of annoying, tbh. Lol.

I checked the size of the plane by putting it side by side with an Hydra (which is a medium sized aircraft according to the Hangar), and a Molotok (small).

It fits exactly in the middle of these two, will upload a pic eventually. But i can't say if it will fit in my showroom...it has the large wing span of the Hydra, but it has the short length of the Molotok... I just hope it will be a "small" one !

Probably. I put my Nimbus in my Hangar and its a medium, even though its 2x the hydra. Volatus is classed as small if it helps you with sizing btw.

Great news!

"Small" seems to be the right answer.

Regarding liveries, I love the French insignia on the Arthur livery, but the camo is ugly as hell

This is faster and more agile than the Rogue - only slightly though. Been having a lot of fun with it.

Love the handling and the plane overall too.

Do you think we can remove totally the weapons in it? I want to fly without any white dot or any crossair to ruin the view...

Going into passive mode removes the crosshairs in aircraft.

Brakes are pretty good, but nothing beats the Molotok's big braking flaps.

Keep in mind the Pyro is a 2 seater. That sets it apart from the other vintage fighters.

I'm kinda sad how little attention this is getting, even compared to more mundane planes like the Howard(in terms of appearance at least), it's just so damn cool and unique looking! Either this or the Nokota will be my first SR aircraft purchase depending on which comes first.

Well this might be my favourite fixed-wing aircraft from the update. Pity that there's only one plane from the update which has an explosive, automatic cannon (the Rogue).

Some observations:

- Good looking. I had some reservations with the cockpit bump, but I think the tail makes up for it, as well as the fact that cockpit accommodates two people.
- Very manoeuvrable - probably on the same level as the P996 Lazer when the Pyro has stock handling. Brakes are also on par, it'd seem.

- Fast - around 220-225mph for top speed with maximum engine upgrade, which gives some competition for the Hydra (although this accelerates much quicker).

- Doesn't stall when climbing vertically.

- The machine guns are decent with a good range, but I'd probably only be using them on air targets. Missiles don't have any cooldown whatsoever, like the Savage.

I am completely sold on this plane. I can't wait to buy it! The only difficult thing about this plane is which livery to choose from.
