did one big delivery to clear all inventory from my hanger so i can swap spots at FZ. Was worth just over 500K with the big lift chopper, 1 package, 1 delivery but as above you have to get the chopper back to the hanger, and you really can't muck around, time is definitely limited, got back with less than 60 seconds to spare

So worse profit per time than Bunker?

I did the skylift to Paleto sell mission.
Was almost back to LSIA when the timer ran out. I still got paid - all that happened is a warning flashed up saying the aircraft has a killswitch and to bail out.
30 second timer then BOOM.
Still got paid

I did one pick up - narcotics at Humane Labs.
Then sold it straightaway, Skylift to Paleto.
Seems you can sell any amount of stock anytime. Obviously the more stock you sell in one go, the more drops there'll be. And obviously more risk because public lobbies.

I'm just happy the way they did it I get about 9 of each item and sell solo also I'm very happy I don't have to buy crates this timeSelling 14 crates got me an my friend two vehicles. I'm guessing that 9 is the magic number again for one vehicle like with special crates.

Crates in this mode need to start at 20k and have less super terminator AI choppers. They don't ant to die. I put 3k mini gun rounds in an u armored chopper and they were fine. I even shot out the pilot once, didn't spin out of control.

It's made for big crews that can pick 5 crates each time or so.
Virtually everyone I know quit the game recently and if they haven't yet, they probably will now.

8 crate sale has 3 vehicles? Sale value is a flat 10k per crate?
Nah.
I think I'll just hammer out the steal missions for discounts and forget about it.
I can't see R* ever giving us a solo money maker superior to I/E.
With that pitiful earning potential it's almost as if R* wanted to give us something like 50m+ of vehicles to buy and then make us play one of the worst ways to make money to obtain discounts.
Yeah I just wanted something better then I/e but this one looks like rockstar wants more effort for less pay I could probably make 3m in the time it takes for this to be full once only improvement over CEO crates is it's free and the hardness makes it less boring
Embarrassingly bad payoff.
But then again, with so many games coming out soon, F1 already out, Destiny out next week & then GTS, Project cars 2, shadow of war, dragons dogma remaster all coming out in October... honestly who caresabout using this update to grind money.
I will just sell the sh*t tonne of glitched cars I had waiting, but up the stuff I wanna buy, and keep allowing the gunrunning and MC businesses to stack up along with race earnings and stuff.
I just wanna get in the new helis and dominate wannabe ass pilots in fm.
To be honest I'm going back to import export this smugglers business had potential but all that grinding for $500,000 is not even worth the effort but I do like the hangar as a nice place to store and customize my aircraft

Perez showed why I picked that figure, it's because of the cost of the crates
So, quick maths for solo players:
A large wharehouse gives 1.6 mills of profit after 6 hours of 3-crates missions.
A full hangar gives 500k profit for 50 crate runs.
So, to reach the same level of profit, it takes 3 full hangars sales.
If you then consider having 2 hours to fill the hangar, to keep with the pace of the CEO crates (500k x3 = roughly 1.6m , 6 hours of work)
2 hours, 50 crates to do.
= 1 hour, 25 crates to do.
2 minutes cooldown between each pick up.
60 - 25 x 2 = 10 minutes of gameplay to get those 25 crates
That means that if you are solo, you must pick up one crate in 24 seconds or less to be as profitable as the CEO crates.
LOLOLOLOL
Might wanna check your arithmetic, because last time I checked, a large warehouse of 111 crates sells for $2,220,000... Not 1.6mil.
The point is still correct, just a minor correction.
Anyway, if you are solo you are not doing it for profit.
So no point in buying one that has a great location for missions (Zancudo is so central)
So the east of LSIA is perfect:
Great access to runway
Cheap
Looks big and legit (lol)
You are 100% correct, I withdraw my argument completely. Sorry, it's been a long day... I need to do a better job reading that you used the word 'profit' rather than assuming you'd just miscalculated. My bad, bro

Did Ron say something about selling one particular product in bulk netting a bonus?

Also - havok - imho not worth it, it's not much more agile than the buzzard and drastically underpowered with the slow fireing .50 cal, even if it may be a teeny weeny bit more agile (which for me it isn't) it does not give much, buzzard is still the quickest and most deadly heli in this game
The swift is quicker than the buzzard and always has been... Not gonna trust the word of someone that can barely fly helis in the game and doesn't realise the differences.

Seems 2 b 5% bonus for every 5 crates collected of same type.

So selling full stock of certain product is 750k? Didn't Ron also say that Narcotics is tougher to get and more valuable? I'm waiting for someone to show the value of full stock... Sure it needs several players to sell, so I'm not doing it, but still I'd like to see just to compare $/h to I/E and crates.
edit. but whatever it is, it's still best to get a job IRL and buy cash cards than grind anything.

BTW everyone. there is a mixed sell option. Click on the green banner with the max price at the bottom and you can empty the warehouse. You loose all bonus' though. Need to do more checking.

So would you get that bonus after selling? It doesn't show up on the price I can sell for. I have 12 units of narcotics, and they will sell for 120k.

yes, he definetly said something like that.
so we need to find out, if there is a real difference between the difficulties and the payouts...

Huzzah for garbage payoffs after you sink $15m in. Massively inferior payout and/or harder to do than all the other business ventures. This is dead on arrival if R* doesn't fix it.

wtf? 15 mil? I sunk 2.5 to buy it, I think, the rest has been on actual planes and upgrades. Think I've probably spent 7 mil maybe?

Just because you are kind and honest, you now entered my "go to guys" private selection. If you're on PC please send a PM with your SC or steam, and let's grind together.
Anyway,
Any heads up about usefulness of Havok?
I've heard that Hydra is better than Buzzard for ressuply...???

Having played it now I can confirm the payouts are about as enticing as the prizes in a 1980s free to air game show*.
As a business it's only looking vaguely viable from an economic perspective if you have 4 or more players in your org. Othewise I/E and Gunrunning will be infinitely more lucrative. Missions aren't too difficult if you've done a lot of flying but can easily take 10 minutes and add a meagre 10k of stock when solo - not counting the sell mission time. In comparison Headhunter will net you 20k in under 5 minutes.
10 units of the same stock got me 100k minus Ron's cut and no bulk bonus. Not sure where that kicks in.
This is more something you'd buy in only to get the unlocks (personalised air vehicles) and trade prices. Missions are quite fun but not as varied as GR. Predict this will go quite quiet after a few weeks.
This all stinks of SZ and his recent "we're under-monetising the player base but we're not going to take every last dime" speech.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned yet. But you don't need to land in the Yellow Circle to drop off the crates.
Just had the option to drop cargo when I was hovering over my hanger. Handy for associates who don't want to go into the hanger.
Yeah I tested that earlier and it glitched out and the supplies were just stuck in the air above my hanger and it wouldn't let me collect it again in the helicopter (Hunter), so I had to jump out and parachute to collect it.
