Are you an MC? Maybe it's red unless you're a CEO?

CEO... Ok so this is weird, it seems to just be me?!?

I know this has probably been posted here somewhere but useful tip in dealing with the buzzards in the protect the Titan mission.

Just shoot one with mini guns,it dies and the other doesn't do much damage,the second one never respawns.

You should always shoot out the snipers from NPC buzzards in any mission where you have them chasing you,be it in import export or gunnrunning.
They follow you but do no damage because they have no shooters,and they don't die,so no respwans.

More details for solo players, using stuff brought by all the participants of this thread.
It can be applied to 2-people teams, just reduce times by 2.

If you are efficient and lucky, you can sustain a pace of around 1 crate every 8 minute while being solo. Some take 3 mins (pick up crate from downed Maverick) some are way longer (escort Titan from above Paleto Forest to Ron Alternates drop, around 13 minutes of playing).
Full Hydra playing: I actually recommend to store 2 of these in your hangar, to compensate time spent calling MMI and having a new one on its way.

So, let's go for some more maths:

8 mins by crate, 50 crates = 400 minutes of playing roughly.

Go only for high-value crates at first.

After this first fill-up, you have 2 options:
Sell all of them: 500.000 for a 6.6 hours grind => awful
OR
Sell 25 of them with the 35% bonus. Better have a friend for the sale.
35% bonus => 337.500

Then 10 more + 10 "second grade" crates. 160 mins
Sale (solo possible)
12% bonus => 112.000

Then 5 + 5 "low grade" : 80 mins
Sale (solo possible)
5% bonus => 52.500 $

Then 5 (one by one...): 17:30 cumulated cooldowns + 40 mins of crates picking = 57:30

50 crates sale (better have a friend too, even more)
70% bonus => 850.000 $

So at the end:
Roughly 700 minutes (almost 12 hours)
850.000 + 337.500 + 112.000 + 52.500
=
1.352.500 in 12 hours
112.666 per hour, double with payout these days.
If everything goes well, with 0 damage to your plane and not taking account of the daily charges.

Of course, you can play with a friend to grind crates by packs of 2, and go on with sales:
1.352.500 for 6 hours, or 2.704.000 for now... which is good, if you want my very own opinion.
Hell, it should be always like that.

CONCLUSION
- if you are alone, go do IE. This week it's possible to do hangar missions, but the payout is not very much better than a traditional IE + crates and it requires a lot of time for it to be profitable + partners for sale etc...
- If you have a friend, go for it during this week... After go back to IE and CEO crates.

I just sold a full hangar at double cash for 2.3 million. I'm going to assume the payouts are bugged.
Interestingly I sold it with 4 associates (no high demand bonus).
1.7million x 0.4 = 680000
1.7 million + 680000 = 2.3million
Probably a coincidence right? I hope my maths is right haha

I've been trying to crack this nut with math the same way. I came to the same conclusion you did, that the method you laid out is just not worth it.

Questions: How do you estimate an 8 minute steal time? Personal experience or from what you've read on here? Would you say the 8 minutes includes the 1 minute or more that it takes to walk back to the computer and start the next mission?

Personal observation: Adding players can actually speed you up more than just cutting the time in half, the average mission time should go down. The helpers don't have to be in the hangar when you start the mission. For example, if they are hovering over Sandy Shores and you get the destroy Grapeseed base mission, they can be done blowing it up before you pass the Prison. Also, 2 crates can be in a single vehicle. So, it might be worth one person flying the unarmed mission helicopter with 2 crates while the other gives fire support.

My math shows the best solo money is to do a VIP mission during cooldowns. Assuming you can average cargo missions in 8 minutes and VIP in 6 minutes, you should make about $1.8m in around 12 hours for about $150k an hour. (Back to back Sightseer and Headhunter makes $175k an hour.) The current double money bonus improves this to about $2.6m or $223k an hour. Which, depending on your damages, is on par with regular I/E work.

The glitched PS4 and X1 payouts with the extra cargo bonus money improves the math, but not by enough. Not even with the double money bonus. Using my above example of VIP between cargo missions, the glitched and double money cargo should pay around $3.3m or about $280k an hour. Which is similar to regular I/E with VIP worked in.

The only way SR is competitive is if you have helpers who are willing to do the work without expecting you to return the favor. If you do have to return the favor, then the best I can come up with is around $300k-$330k an hour using both the double payout and glitched extra bonus. Totally not worth it when a group of four friends can easily get $320k an hour each with I/E.

I presume you are on PS4 or X1? It's glitched and you basically receive an extra cargo bonus. Below is the math. The Calculated Pay is what shows up in the +$, and is what you should receive. Received Pay is what actually went into your pocket.

Formulas:
Calculated Pay = ((Base pay + Cargo Bonus) - Ron's Cut) + Population Bonus
Received Pay = (Calculated Pay * 2) - Base Pay + Ron's Cut

Math:
Calculated Pay = (($1m + $700k) - $42.5k) + $0 = $1,657,500
Received Pay = ($1,657,500 * 2) - $1m + $42.5k = $2,357,500

^ I had 3 havoks for 1 crate (was tidying my stock), landing the first one back at base I knocked over the other two, because of course I did, and it called the sell over and paid me $11k ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Had the same thing for me...1 crate to unload the oddball stock...and gave me 3 delivery vehicles...only completed 1 of them, but still got the sale $$ anyways.

Did they nerf the infinite waves? I had the maverick mission today and took out 3-4 of them with my APC before i arrived at the getaway heli - maybe I was just lucky. :whistle:

Also even if you sell just 5 or 6 crates in an MC, your associates get about 32k payment which is about 50-60% of what you earn. :lol:

My 8 minutes/crate is personal observation while solo: about 8 crates per hour, with super quick deliveries and super long too.
I count everything in that 8 minute pace: from "sit I front of computer" to "sit in front of computer again".

Good thing is, when you are 2, this figure drop by a lot.

My internet has been down for two months and a week for a very stupid reason, so instead I'm on unlimited data and using my phone as a hotspot to play. Which means that a simple phone call is enough to stop my playing session, let alone the fact that the connection is unstable. So since I'm very prone to network errors right now, I was wondering what the penalty is if you lose connection mid-sale. Do you lose everything, a fraction or the majority?

Some people claim that you won't have the 70% bonus if you sell while you have any other type of cargo in your Hangar (like animal materials)

It's a false information, right?

Well the 70% bonus is for having 50 of either Narcotics, Chemicals or Medical Supplies and you can't have more than 50 crates in the hangar at one time anyway soo...

Are the steal missions for Narcotics more difficult than the counterfeit goods missions? Eg extra waves of AI?

Yes. Counterfeit and Tobacco are the easiest since they give out the least profit after cargo bonuses applied.

Chemicals, Narcotics and Medical Supplies have the hardest missions compared to the other five types of goods since they give out the most profit after cargo bonuses.

Bit of both from my first hand experience. Not too over powered though, like the I/E npcs.

So if you are selling 10 (or less, probably) crates and get the two container cargobob mission, even if you have two people in the org, it will only give you one Bob. And only the Bob it gives you can hook on to the damn things...

It's a variant of the infiltration mission.

The only supply mission that requires you to be during a specific time to trigger it.

It's like that Sewer, Mine, Recycle station mission.
