Can we start hating on all people equally again ?

Your inquiry about your sig removal was adequately addressed on the first page. This is a private forum and your account here is a privilege granted to you by the owner. You have no rights here. If your signature is offensive to the community in any way, it can be removed at the sole discretion of staff. Each staff member has the power to act autonomously and summarily based on the circumstances of each incident. The vast majority of our community understand this and have no issue with it. If you cannot accept our rules and continually have problems understanding, it is probably in your best interest to find a different place to post.

Rather than continue this self-pity party, I think it's best for you to attempt to accept the reality of your situation here and move on.

So today i got my sig removed.

Anyone a reason why ?

Really, it contained no gore, no blood, nothing hinting to discrimination and just follow the theme of "darwin awards".

Yet if someone was somehow offended by that....even though the ones offended by that should thus be associating with idiotic twats so stupid they killed themselves doing such notable stupid things they kill themselves and even get media attention, then would the profile picture not be removed to ?

Really, there have been/are people with way more violent profile pictures/signatures then i got, so what gives ?

On top of that, yesterday i got told i can not post anymore in the confession thread, even though i post confessions.

Sure besides that there is some slight going off topic, but really, anyone that watched the thread ...really, it is filled with short moments of going off topic trough out its years long history.

Yet who get flamed for it ? indeed, only me...even with the edit that happened afterward it is kinda hard to tell that post was/is directed to everyone in general no ?

Sure one could assume that the further remarks might mean specific from that moment on, any controversial things should be banned from the thread even if they are indeed "confessions"....but then again, we got confessions about masturbating....which i personally...i do not mind such remarks, but again, where is the fairness in that one ?

Further whenever i seem to report now and then things that are pretty much falling under either flaming or spam, nothing happens...is this some hint i am then allowed to replie....o no wait, then i get flamed  :facedesk:

Not to mention i get the feeling people think i am after attention, even though i do not care...and speaking of which, i would almost say i am getting monitored more then anyone else at this moment regardless, so yea...if so, can that please stop ?

It is getting quite ridiculous.

Well, if anyone got a problem with this, feel free to lock it, hid it and then PM me or show me an alternative way of communication for this kind of sh*t.

Also excuse me for posting a thread in regards to a few problems into the section that is supposedly for "forum support"

I haven't been keeping up with all the drama lately, so please explain what you are on about here?

Your member log is pretty colourful and if memory serves me correctly, 90% of your posts are you trying too hard to get a reaction out of certain topics. Couple that with your increasingly edgy avatars and signatures, how do you expect to be treated? People are just calling you out on your sh*t, and you want them to stop, but you don't care at the same time? You can't see staff actions, so what makes you think we're ignoring your reports?

I really don't understand our memberbase sometimes.

First of all, you, along with several other people are currently just assuming i am trying to get a reaction out of people.

Like really, at this point, i just have to post anything into general chat and already i have the attention of everyone regardless of subject, so not sure why i would be in it for attention.

That theory is really flawed at the moment to be honest.

As for increasingly edgy, well let say it like this, i ain't really been in a happy mood for a while i must admit, but still, i am actually trying not to break the rules.

And i do not mind reasonable critique at all, but yea, there is a difference for an example between this:

@Darth: "it would be better for everyone to just terminate it"

Yeah, well, no. Definetly not for the aborted child. It's not like people with disabilities are doomed to have a horrible life not worth living.

Most of them look very happy and have supporting families that love their children. And hey, they don't have to care about all the sh*tstorm that comes in adulthood. It's a huge accomplishment if a person like this manages to live happy despite the illness.

I've seen quite many of these people occassionally in my life. Once I was riding the bus, almost falling asleep when suddenly someone started shaking me. I was totally freaked out! There was this guy with an obvious illness looking at me. That guy almost gave me a heart attack but I remained calm.

Guy asked me for directions and told me how his father is going to pick him up at a bus stop in the next city. He asked this very kindly, couldn't speak very well and it was kind of hard to understand. Whatever. He sat down right on my bag next to me. He stood up, apologized, gave me a high 5 and the passagers who sat in the frot of the bus were looking at me.

You know what? I wasn't embarassed at all. It was heartwarming to hear him speak, I know I sound like a rainbow trooper now but it's true. He was telling me about himself and you could really see just how hard he tries to live despite his illness. Despite all this he laughed, smiled and was very kind this whole time and it was quite an interesting experience.

I guess I confess that I totally respect people with down syndrome. The illness is an incredibly unfair way to start a life and these people try to do their best more than we do.

Which is again, an opinion i do honestly not really share, but still, putting it like that i can at least respect this opinion, which is different then this:

Those people are rather exceptional while few of the examples were really born with a serious defect and even more of those examples were not mentally complete handicapts and i am quite sure few of those could be diagnosed with their deffect pre birth.

You've completely f*cking missed the point you catastrophic spangly cum sack, you're a disgrace to your anthropomorphic squirrel race and should heavily consider sucking the end of a glock.

Which is pretty much flaming, to say the least.

Now, to be fair, i could even deal with that, yes indeed i could and just flame back, but of course if i did that i'd probably get my member log tainted again, warned for flaming while the other person i guess gets nothing heard from it ?

Sure, i could always assume such members get a warning, but then again, having seen certain specific members come back with that kind of flaming stuff time and time again whenever they object to something, i honestly doubt that is actually the case.

Really, for my part, allow flaming then towards me, i would not really care that much, but then at least forgive me for simply returning the favor.

And again, stop bothering me about my avatars if they do not break the forum rules for real.

The decision to remove my signature, yet not my profile picture makes no sense, especially not when comparing it with some of the stuff i have seen on this forum already.

Finest example is that one picture sivispacem had(again, i do not mind him having such a signature at all) in the period before his current one, which contained quite the graphic kind of bitsy thingies people would object to if i did something comparable.

Really, at this rate my signature should rather read "RIP equality for all members".

Sivispacem does not have a history of being edgy to get a rise out of people, but his signature wasn't a gif of someone falling to their death either lmao

just put an iota of thought into whether the action you're about to do could be perceived as edgy, that's all ya have to do...assuming that it's not the intention, which is a hard thing to assume considering the consistency and high volume of your edgy output (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

Oh please, so you are just gonna admit the bias is real ?

And what now ? i am forbidden to even post a picture of a dog in case someone is afraid of it and says it is to "edgy" ?

I do not want to imagin the punishment if i would call myself "Red Dagger"   :rol:

Heh, why not even better...get a week ban for just not being bothered keeping the "current signature" into something else within 24 hours...sure, by that twisted logic which thus can not be considered logic at all, i guess that is all fine ?

The similarity hasn't gone unnoticed. The "Give Me My Account Back" tantrum clarified that point.

At least Diana was unintentionally obtuse.

Diana was mentally ill if one asks me....

And heck, though i think the right thing was done when she got banned, flame me for saying it, but she got actually trolled really bad by the people from here in the end, including the ones supposedly in charge of the law and order here.

edit: also different, i am trying to solve this sh*t before i get banned and some trolling voodoo puppet with  moderator authority uses it as some puppet for some twisted joke.

Again, i am not her to let things escalate to that point, on the contrary.

All i actually want is fair treatment.

I'm not a huge fan of Darth, and I couldn't care less about his posts sometimes, but there is a major bias in terms of hate. It's been growing over the past year or so and it's a shame the staff just doesn't bother to handle it properly. You have a main group of people that constantly talk sh*t about others and nothing ever gets done about it, even with substantial proof. This happens regardless of who you are, unless you're the one being hateful.

Again, I'm not a friend of Darth's at all, I'm just pointing out the obvious.

All i actually want is fair treatment.

You are getting fair treatment. Other people with questionable avatars and signatures get theirs removed all the time, you just happen to have a preference for those for whatever reason. Of all the themes you could choose, you went for someone dying, and it should be fairly obvious why that swings into the questionable content side of things.

Why didn't you report Arthur's post, then? I can see we didn't receive a single report about it from anyone. We're not looking at every single post of every single topic, even if we contribute to them ourselves, things can get missed very easily when there is a circlejerk happening. Regardless of what I think about the post you quoted, you can't not report and then make a complaint about bias.

And again, stop bothering me about my avatars if they do not break the forum rules for real.

Really, at this rate my signature should rather read "RIP equality for all members".

Put your violin away. Rules don't apply to avatars and signatures like you think they do. We judge them for exactly what they are, the imagery we see and how it represents the forums. If it's offensive, crosses a line, makes people uncomfortable, explicit, pornographic or any other sh*t we think isn't suitable for our platform, we will remove it. This list isn't exhaustive, staff use their judgement like they always have done.

There is actually nobody shown dying in the video, that happens out of view.

This is why the vid that gif comes from was able to be uploaded on youtube and stay there and has been for years.

Is that not btw the reason signatures get removed ?

To fit certain criteria given by google for imagery ?

And is youtube also not pretty much owned by google and pretty much falling under the same kind of criteria ?

As a rule of thumb; if your avatar and/or signature features someone befalling (grave) bodily harm or dying: it's going to be a no-go.

This should be common sense, really.

Hmmm, first point is legit interesting, since i could have sworn i reported it.

Or it was an other post of that guy, since surprise surprise, he is kinda having a habit posting that kind of post towards me(i guess we are not good friends  :sarcasm:).

Could it be though that certain staff are biased though ?

Few weeks ago i was the victim of a practical joke i never really appreciated organized by one specific moderator that got full support from at least 1 particular staff member, which happened to pretty much allow flaming in the confession thread and allowed off topic posts as long as they were directed to me it seems somewhere around 21 may if i am not mistaken.

Surprisingly, something on the level of a political cartoon is not on the same level as footage of someone's death. This is where that "common sense" part comes into play.

Soooo...i can use a happy tree friends gif ?

That being said, i still find it debatable to say that person his death of my old gif was actually captured on tape, since that happens off screen.

Ugh, now i have the feeling you are just playing games.

INB4 next week my pictures about vesuvius and popeii get me banned after suggesting i am playing edgelord.

edit: honestly following the forum rules to the book...maybe i lack common sense, but i always would have thought any showing of blood no matter animated or not, would be considered more ov a violation then my last gif tbh.

Since again, the gif is not really showing anything special in regards to nudity, offensive material and gore.

more edit: and no, i am absolutely not joking about that last edit.

more edit: it is 42 min over bed time and i got to work tomorrow.

I take it this thread can stay open until then ?

If not i must admit me making a new thread might be possible.

Hope there is some polite understanding about that.

Good night.

Signatures are removed as seen fit when they are deemed offensive. It happens...go find a new signature.

As for any bias thrown against you, read your warn log...you're lucky to even have an account. That being said, since you're account is still active and not banned I'd try getting along with people around here better and quit trying to get a rise out of everyone wherever you post.
