First of all, you, along with several other people are currently just assuming i am trying to get a reaction out of people.
Like really, at this point, i just have to post anything into general chat and already i have the attention of everyone regardless of subject, so not sure why i would be in it for attention.
That theory is really flawed at the moment to be honest.
As for increasingly edgy, well let say it like this, i ain't really been in a happy mood for a while i must admit, but still, i am actually trying not to break the rules.
And i do not mind reasonable critique at all, but yea, there is a difference for an example between this:
@Darth: "it would be better for everyone to just terminate it"
Yeah, well, no. Definetly not for the aborted child. It's not like people with disabilities are doomed to have a horrible life not worth living.
Most of them look very happy and have supporting families that love their children. And hey, they don't have to care about all the sh*tstorm that comes in adulthood. It's a huge accomplishment if a person like this manages to live happy despite the illness.
I've seen quite many of these people occassionally in my life. Once I was riding the bus, almost falling asleep when suddenly someone started shaking me. I was totally freaked out! There was this guy with an obvious illness looking at me. That guy almost gave me a heart attack but I remained calm.
Guy asked me for directions and told me how his father is going to pick him up at a bus stop in the next city. He asked this very kindly, couldn't speak very well and it was kind of hard to understand. Whatever. He sat down right on my bag next to me. He stood up, apologized, gave me a high 5 and the passagers who sat in the frot of the bus were looking at me.
You know what? I wasn't embarassed at all. It was heartwarming to hear him speak, I know I sound like a rainbow trooper now but it's true. He was telling me about himself and you could really see just how hard he tries to live despite his illness. Despite all this he laughed, smiled and was very kind this whole time and it was quite an interesting experience.
I guess I confess that I totally respect people with down syndrome. The illness is an incredibly unfair way to start a life and these people try to do their best more than we do.
Which is again, an opinion i do honestly not really share, but still, putting it like that i can at least respect this opinion, which is different then this:
Those people are rather exceptional while few of the examples were really born with a serious defect and even more of those examples were not mentally complete handicapts and i am quite sure few of those could be diagnosed with their deffect pre birth.
You've completely f*cking missed the point you catastrophic spangly cum sack, you're a disgrace to your anthropomorphic squirrel race and should heavily consider sucking the end of a glock.
Which is pretty much flaming, to say the least.
Now, to be fair, i could even deal with that, yes indeed i could and just flame back, but of course if i did that i'd probably get my member log tainted again, warned for flaming while the other person i guess gets nothing heard from it ?
Sure, i could always assume such members get a warning, but then again, having seen certain specific members come back with that kind of flaming stuff time and time again whenever they object to something, i honestly doubt that is actually the case.
Really, for my part, allow flaming then towards me, i would not really care that much, but then at least forgive me for simply returning the favor.
And again, stop bothering me about my avatars if they do not break the forum rules for real.
The decision to remove my signature, yet not my profile picture makes no sense, especially not when comparing it with some of the stuff i have seen on this forum already.
Finest example is that one picture sivispacem had(again, i do not mind him having such a signature at all) in the period before his current one, which contained quite the graphic kind of bitsy thingies people would object to if i did something comparable.
Really, at this rate my signature should rather read "RIP equality for all members".
