I have a Dell Inspiron 15 3542 series laptop that came with windows 10 installed but i wanna see if i can downgrade to windows 7. Is it possible that these new computers can be compatible with these old OS?

In theory there are driver for Windows 7 available, so you should be good to go: http://www.dell.com/...-laptop/drivers

To be honest though, I don't think it's worth the hassle.

To be honest though, I don't think it's worth the hassle.

I  agree but windows 10 kina sucks and it doesn't even do well with most of the old games.  But thanks for the response

Well,it depends on which generation of processoor you are using?If you are using 6th generation or above processors i dont think you can downgrade.Cause they are not supported by those officially.

I am using an i4-4005U CPU. Is that under the 6th generation
