Can i host a samp server with a LAPTOP

Can I host a server on my laptop? i heard that you can on a pc. is it possible on a lenovo laptop? (San Andreas MultiPlayer server)

Yes. The type of computer doesn't matter much. Only the specs and the operating system.

 

Any more or less modern computer should be able to handle an SAMP server, even a laptop. Although, number of players you'll be able to support and how smooth experience is might depend on the specs and your network.

 

The SAMP server is available for Windows and Linux, and you're definitely running one of these on a Lenovo.

 

If anyone runs into this thread trying to figure out if they can run it on OSX, my recommendation would be to try Docker. (For example...) Docker might also be the way to go for a Linux SAMP server.
