Good one, haven't considered people would share full radio.

Now i'm curious, it's rather hard to believe that big hosting sites ignores file signatures. Then again i don't think i can go with encryption.

I think it is easier just to pack them on a .7z (because .rar sucks) and add a password to it...

I think it is easier just to pack them on a .7z (because .rar sucks) and add a password to it...

Does this make the site not know the file content, right? It makes sense, I never thought about it, they still know it's .mp3, but they can't see the content and so they don't know if it's copyrighted or not.

Start from random point on one track only radios ? 

 

It gets annoying pretty fast everytime you load the game you hear the beggining of the radio always.

 

Oh and it would be could to use the NextTrack button to pick another random point

ATP is the Vice City format no? i hope have a less weight because mp3 are too higher.

 

My suggestion is start with a random minutes or seconds of a song and no in the time 0:00

No, ATP is just extension. It's basically just normal audio file with its file extension renamed.

So a Track_1.atp might be actually mp3 or ogg file.

 

As for random track time position, i'm trying to figure out how to do it since there's no opcode to manipulate them.

Was about to use newOpcodes too, but apparently audiostream opcodes were removed.

However, it's already implemented. I'm using bass.dll functions for it.

 

Might release next version soon.

Update

 

v0.9.6

- ATP now loads supported audio files with custom extension *.atp
- Channels no longer start from very beginning of tracks
- Changes in Track type pattern
  > Ads now play more often
  > Fix Ads and IDs eventually stop playing if Side-Tracks are not registered
- Screen fade now affects ATP volume

 

Not a big update, was about to implement effects for track but i need help with it.

 

Please note that renaming extension to *.atp have no effect whatsoever to the track. They are only used as attempt to trick hosting sites when included in a shared/modpack/TC archive.

Here's a batch file to rename all tracks extension to atp. Optional, but helps if you have tons of files to rename.

Quickie update

 

v0.9.7

- ATP now emulates Radio EQ effect for Bike's Radio and Bass Boost (Car Radio mode)
  > Toogleable with Radio EQ option
- Fixed interface not showing channel's inactivity (no gray text/no transparent logo)

My game mostly crashes when I switch to User Tracks or when a custom track ends.

Do you have Music in User Files? Remove them and what version do you have?

Only mp3 and ogg. Or shortcuts to them.
