I understand Rockstar abandoned SP years ago, but, if they can release minor updates to GTAO, why can't they include mini updates to SP? I love SP a lot and I wish they included more social interactions- like what was included in San Andreas and IV.

Simply putting it:

To have more Online players(which equals more potential Shark Card buyers).

Not only minor things like cars, bikes and clothes, but also very interesting features that SHOULD have been in SP since day one are not present because of that very same reason, things like:

-Buying and owning multiple safehouses;
-Owning over 120 spots in your garages to save your cars;
-Mechanic delivering personal vehicles;
-Ability to make any storage vehicle your own personal vehicle instead off being with that sh*tty Buffalo S and Tailgater;
-Customizable inventory wheel, ability to discard unwanted weapons from it;
-Phone contacts perks, like calling Lester to remove wanted level or acquire immunity for a few minutes, call in a mugger, etc...
-Much more open and customizable character;
-Ability to have your personal aircrafts and military vehicles delivered somewhere near you, instead of only one spot in the whole map;
-Over 200 different races, of all types of car classes;
-much more abrangent inventory menu, with the ability to use NV goggles, thermal goggles, rebreathers and headsets on the fly.

And so many other abilities.

It Zelnick's latest statement is anything to go by, they don't want freeloaders, and SP could be fitting in this definition.

The answer is very simple: SP does not generate any income (besides buying the game once). GTA Online on the other hand....

I often see this line appear:

"We don't offer any support for Pirated copies. Pirating is illegal and we don't even allow discussion.

Please buy the game legitimately."

But then, THEY pirate us single player players, by giving 1/5th a game.

Was SP worth 70Euro back in the days?

For fu...dges sake, hell no...

And then they complain folks start to go pirate... I don't.

But, it is as it is.
