Going grocery shopping, unpacking the shopping, then the look of delight on my face a few hours later when I open the fridge and realise all the glorious goodies I bought.

Having the whole house to myself even if it's just for a couple of hours.

Same :D
-Turn up relaxing music while enjoying a drink. This or just hanging out with friends from work or old high school big homies.
Same with me aswell :) It's always been a blast still hanging with my friends from highschool. Most of us just reminisce on the times we f*cked around in school and getting in trouble. The good times we had years ago

OT: For me it's having a barbecue with the family during weekends. Everybody's out in echo Park LA just hanging out laid back while homies drink 40's playing old school sh*t, kids playing, it's just grate to see everybody outside hanging out at the park. Really good feeling. Got to get out of the house and put the work stress behind and relax :D

-Music from the 80s, Relax ftw.
-Richard Cheese's covers, some of music is better than the original, especially this one.

Meeting and conversing with actual kind, considerate, genuine, positive, and mature people. Having friends who actually give a damn about your thoughts and feelings.

A nice bottle of wine, sometimes two or three.

Any moment when I'm not stuck at work or having to think about work.

There's so many, but mainly being around the right people and having peacefulness when it is needed.

One little thing always makes me happy, although it's rare the joy I get from it is indescribable.

Usually I ran out of cigarettes at night, but I keep an extra pack as a reserve. Well when I somehow forget to buy the extra pack and I don't have any cigarettes left I search the house hoping to find one (searching pockets and such in jackets, jeans etc.) and when I do find one it's practically Christmas morning for me.

Don't start smoking.

I really had a happy moment last Saturday.

Went on a trip to The Ardennes, Remouchamps, visiting the Ninglinspo, which is, so i found out by researching on the internet, apparently the only mountain stream in Belgium.

I knew somewhat how the place was called and i sure knew about its existence, since when i was little and we went on trips to The Ardennes, we always went to there and went for a walk, following the end of it as far as possible, which is kinda not that far, but before i reached the age of about 12 or so we never actually ever walked it out, let alone explored the area some more.

After something like that though, me and my dad did walk it out a few times though.

That being said walking it out is kinda a wrong placed sentence for it, since in the end the stream kinda gets fed by some little streams here and there, while the main one, of following the closest path, kinda goes off track and can no longer be properly followed.

Besides that, like said, there are a few different routes kinda crossing each other.

One route just goes zigzagging and crosses the stream on a few places while besides that being generally from a greater height and distance relative to the stream and it is pretty much paved.

Then an other one is much "more wild", crossing the river often and pretty much leaves you with a lot of small options to adjust your track, while now and then an option to cross a bridge, pretty much consisting out of 1 big wooden beam and one smaller one for support.

and then at the  area were the stream really starts(what, from my point of view, is the end of the route since i start walking at the end of the stream, were the parking i know is), you can either follow that main path, and have the option to go and go to a panoramic view point of the area(i just discovered that saturday and i only knew of its existence because there were pictures about it on the internet), or some path that pretty much lets you return back after a while, and then a few "tracks" that let you go to a paved road, which goes into 3 directions, a path that goes into some field of some sorts and some other things i have not explored yet.

Of course this had to be done with the car, since it seems that with public transport you can not even go there without being underway for a day and on top of that, it had to be behind the back of my mom, since she is just to worried about me making such long trips.

So this trip of me pretty much started saturday at 7h20 AM.

a bit before 7 AM i heard my mom leaving for work, then of course i had to prepare some things like a small breakfast, some lunch, some extra clothing, phone, some jars to maybe catch some animals(water insects, salamanders, frogs, toads) with, bottles of water,....and then time to get in the car and using the gps on my phone to go were i needed to be, which i knew exactly because of "google streetview" :p

Man, the start of that was just amazing already....25 degrees already, My radio on the station"Radio Nostalgie", specialized in playing oldies from the 70's to 90's(jeez, 90's music is considered old these days, how time flies), going out my street, then onto an other road and then following what i personally call in my own mind "the legendary E40", a highway that starts at Calais in France(,were they still pretty much, even though this is not official, still have a huge immigrant problem and had/have a camp that they called "the jungle of Calais", were they had thousands of illegal immigrants stationed, waiting for a chance to get to England, hoping for a better life) and with an ending of this highway in Kazachstan.

then just driving at pretty much full power for several hours in my 2007 Opel Zafira, enjoying the music, the windows half open, going on a trip that, if i make it, would be the longest trip with the car i have ever made...just great feeling.

Then of course after a certain point, somewhat after crossing the borders of Wallonia, which is the French speaking part of Belgium(i live in the Dutch speaking part), no more Dutch radio so there goes the oldies music, but it is still ok, things go great.

Then of course i take a wrong turn and somehow end up in Luik/liege.

In the end though, i did not mind the detour, since because of that, i caught a view of some of the old industrial buildings and i actually went over the Pont de Liege, which is a pretty nice looking and really well known bridge.

After that was done though, it was almost 9 AM and the battery of my phone was near dead, so i stopped at some Lunch Garden road restaurant.

At that place i kinda ate some cornflakes, which is honestly a thing i must not have eaten in almost decade, since even though it tastes nice, it is just not enough to eat one bowl of that stuff t have a good breakfast that will bet you trough the first half of the day, which i found out when i got older.

Further i also had some strawberry cake with it and some bowl with milk of course to go with the cornflakes.

Then i kinda had some boring waiting game so my phone could fully recharge, which lasted about an hour, after which i continued my tour, and i finally found were i needed to be, recognized the parking that i know so well from memories that went beyond the 5 years, just found pretty much the last parking spot available, because with that good weather and an extended weekend, there were of course many other people already and i started the trip i had been planning for weeks and wanted to do ever since i got my temporary drivers license; The walk along the Ninglinspo.

Though it was pretty crowded, i still found a lot of fun things, like these guys  :

The road never really ends, only if you want it to.

Somewhat beyond that road you can find this(in my day dreams i could live at something like that):

Also this is pretty much the view you get from that one point i found:

Spoiler

I also went to Durbuy, a place we always visited when going to the Ardennes back in the day, to take a walk from the free parking, next along the river, going trough the place and then walking up a hill/mountain to get a panoramic view of that place too.

And after that i also went to a restaurant we often went to, eating fries with vol au vent, something i ate a lot there, just like the old days...shame i could not get myself my favorit ice cream after that(banana split), but heck, i am sure to return.

Really, that day was one of the best days i had in years.

Priceless.

edit: it used to be my habit to keep most animals i find in the wild, but i ain't got the time to even try to raise them up to adulthood anymore, so i just let them go back into the water :D

Fortunately I don't have a strong accent. I don't understand how some people do to love a so awful accent.

When I watch videos of people puking because they drank too much alcohol or milk I always laugh. I particularly love the one with Don Vito/Vincent Margera puking after 52 shots. The moment when the camera zooms on his face, he closes his eyes to puke always makes me dead laugh.

Yes I know, I have special tastes.

Capitalism and it's prosperous years ahead.

It's a highly centralized global economic system, though. It's not really little.

Plus, it doesn't have many 'prosperous' years ahead. It is doomed to collapse.

I get the joke, tho.

The problem is not capitalism but the concentration of powers.

In a society where people would easily expose the psychopaths, where the politicians and bosses would be systematically denounced and punished an irreversible way our economies would go much better.

Capitalism in itself is neither better nor worse than communism.

When I play Streets of rage 2 on the mania mode, I take Max and use some codes to be invincible. I particularly love doing it from the last part of level 7 to the final fight.
