Setting: modern day VC

Characters: 3, or at least 2.

- Male drug smuggler, think Miami Vice's "Burnett", only a real smuggler and not an undercover cop.

- Female corrupt Vice Squad cop.

- Can't immediately think of a third, but most likely a male. One of these males would be a minority, probably Cuban, Haitian or Dominican (fits the setting).

I wouldn't mind playing as an eventual high school dropout. Young kid around 17/18 who's bad as any character in movies with a similar background has ever been. Victor Duncan from the 1987 movie called "The Principal" comes to mind. A kid that's so deep into that lifestyle that there's no hope to guiding him back a normal life.

You start out in the school with the task of taking over, The school is terrible anyway with drugs being sold in the halls ran by you, and you have a gang backing you up so you're pretty much on top of the world (of the school) until eventually a new teacher shuts you down and gets you sent off to prison.

You break out later and begin the chapter of life after school. Out in the real world of whatever city the games in and things get even more interesting.

So, Bully 2?

I'm talking about a inner city school with drug activity. There was nothing like that in Bully.

Something like the show Power. Sophisticated yet gritty. Will get into characters later on.

Rags to riches and not a once gang banger getting a mansion in Vinewood hills just for sniping a guy like in GTAV.

Let it have a slow and gradual build up and let us have to earn our way up. And I'd like the focus to be on drugs

Working our way up as a dealer. From a small time crook selling on the street to a baron with connections to production and smugglers who has his own underbosses.

As a guy, who was dissapointed with GTA 5 storyline, I'm sayin'

I'd like to see main character deeply involved in organized crime, like Cosa Nostra, Black Mafia or Irish Mob, rising through the ranks in organization during the storyline, depending on player choices of course.

Speaking about setting - it would be real interesting to see new GTA game set in 1970's, for example in Liberty City again.

Liberty City Cosa Nostra plot with Five Families could be a perfect prequel to GTA 4, explaining much LC history in HD Era.

As an alternative Rockstar could choose cities based on Philadelphia, Baltimore, ect. Or depict full State of Aldreny (based on New Jersey, including Southern part, like Atlantic City).

The storyline, in total, gotta be as dramatic as GTA 4 was.

All due respect, that would be much more exciting and interesting, then the present time story line, based on sci-fi bullsh*t, with jetpacks, military aircraft.

And, in my opinion, it is better to have only one character, but with strongly developed personality and pre-history, then the angry fella from the hood, psychotic drug-addled cross dresser and midlife crisis ex-bankrobber (who, btw, is the only of them three who deserves to be called the protagonist).

Old times in vc, like events after vc storyline. 1989 or something like that.

1960's Liberty city.

Or starting of the 2000's and in vc again
