Just by $9 million, excellent quarter nonetheless and even before the fiscal year that includes RDR2 and 2K unannounced title, their income will the second biggest in their history same with profit, cash flow etc. And interesting they bought 1 million shares which is smart to spend that cash pile that will soon become $2 Billion+.

7% down now. Net bookings were surprisingly bad to me.

Dont know the reason for this.

Only thing could be that they sold so many NBA 2k18 units last quarter that retailer did not had to reorder much

Dayuum $108.00 in after trading. Shareholders are punishing a small game company like TTWO even with a tiny $9 million miss?..What A cruel world 😂😎

Note: Tbh SZ and the board should focus a lot on company and it future- as they are currently doing- and not the stock price.

Zello: I will read the transcript on Seeking Alpha (SA).

8M sales in NBA 2k18,  NBA 2k18 is the reason for low net bookings

The biggest chunk was sold in last quarter. probably just around 2,5M in christmas quarter

-2,5% I can live with that. Next half year could be quite dry for further development in the stock.

Oh sh*t I dreamt this happen -forgot to tell you folks- and drive TTWO to make their biggest acquisition buy a competing and popular game company for $4 Billion [The dream was a bit blurry].

FlatFX: And you think TTWO which have a board member [the oldest in corporate america history] age 78 will not have options 😀😎. That stock buyback is one sign they will make a crazy unexpected move this year.

Take-Two Halted, Drops 7% on FYQ3 Revenue Miss

For the full year, the company raised its outlook for its “GAAP net revenue" to a range of $1.8 billion to $1.85 billion, from $1.74 billion to $1.84 billion forecast back in November on “net bookings” of $1.99 billion to $2.04 billion, versus a prior forecast for $1.93 billion to $2.04 billion.

Conservatively raised guidance for the full year, which matters the most now.

?? :D

at the end this means for me EA and Activision have outperformed Take Two with their new game releases in the christmas quarter.

EA also missed adjusted revenue so I expect bigger numbers from Activision tomorrow which probably have outperformed both

it was all on NBA 2k18 they sold too much last quarter

if I take NBA 2k18 down to 2,5M units in my calculation and adjust the digital revenue and catalog to their announced numbers it fits perfectly.

Yeah, the Baseball game sales have almost saturated in one quarter! However, with GTAO hitting all-time high in revenue and players, I had my estimates high.

They should buy Capcom or Sega

TTWO can buy both in one go 😂

Anyhow, that cash went from $1.2 Billion to $1.39 Billion Dayuum!

Note: M&As, Name change et.al are all definitely options. Since gaming is their "core" business [also stated that in all filings] changing name to accommodate different businesses will make perfect sense. And if that not the case, M&As buying one of those targets are the case among other strategies [loving the buybacks, rewarding shareholders]. And I bet their 78 years old- Lead Independent Director [who built up BMG into an European powerhouse] have greater ideas and we will be seeing that soon folks. Long Live Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (TTWO)!

Onward to $300.00!

Dayuum they even increase guidance.

Not sure what I'd expect out of Activision, unless Call of Duty has had a massive resurgence (doubtful) then it's not going to be boosted by Destiny 2 numbers, which not only didn't sell as well as the first but it's also been a spectacular failure when it comes to post launch support, it's concurrent numbers are at all times low for the series. Blizzard haven't released anything new either and the WoW expansion is still a ways away.

all nice, but yesterday's earnings took out all the steam at once because it looks like we have reached the top of monetization with their current games catalog.

So they are even more reliant on RDR2

Activision targets tonight:

2,49B revenue vs 2B previous year

0,91 EPS vs 0,92 EPS previous year

I am expecting red today and below $110.00 and that share buyback was excellent move. Now M&As either big one, to bolster the labels [R*, 2K, PD], or more SP focused mobile acquisitions, or even esport and media acquisition. Go TTWO!

Note: I think if TTWO stay in red for the next one month I can see Wall Street raising targets to make it continue the run to that inevitable $300.00+ [going to love the suspense] 😀😎

I don't see stock closing below $110. Company's estimates for Net Bookings, $2.5B, for next fiscal year is conservative and set for a strong beat I believe. With Grand Theft Auto Online, and the base V game still going forward, NBA 2K18 transactions, NBA 2K19 and Red Dead, plus other smaller IPs, bookings should hit $3.0B at least. That's even without a new Borderlands/Bioshock game.

Efreet: I also see $3.0 Billion in revenue for next fiscal year, even in a quiet fiscal year like this they are going to do $2.1 Billion. Anyhow, I was only thinking the correction setting them up to go big. TTWO official part of my made up acronym TASTE [Take-Two, Activision, Snap, Twitter, and EA]. Cool right 😀😎

Take-Two a decade ago bought a studio from Microsoft and they inherit this franchise https://en.m.wikiped...Links_(series).I am think Social Point should reboot it for mobile gamers. Top Spin will also be a instant mobile hit!

Note: I feel like the Corporate development team -which includes Michael Worosz- reads this thread and with Strauss Zelnick saying they are terrific and look at everything out there I also think so now. Thanks TTWO 😁😎😘👏

Well, the market has become volatile. You don't know if it's bull, or bear trap. Up, down, up. I miss the quiet days of 2017.

TTWO have change alot in 5 years I can see the company's market value going down to $5 Billion. If a recession start anytime now they will be trading between $8-10 Billion however the next recession is not due until 2021-2022. I still see the company reaching a all time high of between $30-50 Billion in market cap, even that aside I am still expecting $300.00 [I think I will increase it sooner]. Long Live TTWO!
