I Don,t Know this is the correct section.

I imagine that one day GTA will have a crossover against another franchise that reaches its height, for you that another franchise should align to the storyline next to the history of GTA?

Driver, True Crime and Sleeping Dogs are all dead and Saints Row... don't ask, so none, leave the series be.

Only if it's with another R* title like Red Dead but even then it wouldn't make sense so no.

All of the GTA clones died. Even Mafia. No hope for anything. I hope GTA V didn't kill the franchise.

That'll never happen ... Only game's Rockstar would even consider doing a crossover with are their own titles , mostly being the ones that are in the same universe as Gta's .

I'd like to see GTA crossed over with The Sims. Steal a car and have someone yell at you angrily in a non-existent language

There's always someone that says it will never happen, lol :D That's not the point. We're imagining if it did happen.. hmmm...

GTA story and Fallout/The Witcher 3.

Very different games, you protest. Obviously. But I'm talking about storytelling style. Not that the actual stories crossover but that GTA's story borrows from the storytelling of the games I mentioned.

Side missions and random encounters have very changeable outcomes. Some times those outcomes aren't apparent until later on in the story.. but very later on. Also the ability to probe people you meet with different responses and questions which may make the person you are talking to react in a different way. Like Life Is Strange or any RPG, when you give make a decision it can really affect the outcome.

I used to think I'd like a story that was defined one way but now I think I could appreciate branching storylines. Doesn't have to be the main story but in the side missions. Side missions should have big stories like Fallout/Skyrim/The Witcher.

Not sure Manhunt would count, since it takes place in the same universe.

A pinch of GTA and a dash of Watch Dogs together produces a recipe called interesting. A teaspoon of GTA and a tablespoon of Elder Scrolls though? A strange infusion of sweetness with an aftertaste of confusion. Driver and GTA? An odd blend of salty and bittersweet, with a touch of nostalgia. But mix Old GTA and Saints Row? Full blown type 1 diabetes. drool2c.gif

All of the GTA clones died. Even Mafia. No hope for anything. I hope GTA V didn't kill the franchise.

I hope it did. As GTA "progressed" it has lost its identity and become stale because Rockstar would rather yoga than Gouranga. BUT, given sales figures? There is lots of more GTA to be had.

This and this. I'd wish GTA would go back to the laid-back, "GOURANGA!" kind of days. It sure seems now all that matters is glossy looks and ironically be the try-too-hards they used to

really make jabs at. Mafia 3 though breathed new life in a genre that might have been stale.

gta iv pinball

Agree, they oughta make pinball games themed on the original GTA as well too. I could see it being a game on the player's smartphone.

Sadly, Mafia 3 is sh*te.

If only it was as good as Mafia: TCOLH or even Mafia 2.

Would be awesome to have GT-like customization for all of the car's parts.  If R* could find a way to keep it from being insanely exploitable, could be a ton of fun.
