Remember this mod?

http://gtaforums.com...nteriorsbadges/

This was my first real attempt at fixing stock vehicles that R* left them with errors. I quickly realised my mods would not be popular without 3D remodelling. Now, over 2 years later, I have started using ZModeler for GTA V after joining the Realism Dispatch Enhanced team as a beta tester. Special thanks to them - without their support, I would not create this workshop.

My work will focus on improving GTA V vehicle models and making new variants thereof.

Improved Vapid Bullet Pack 1.1

Vapid has been known to supply American law enforcement with vehicles of mixed survivability: from the original Stanier that was prone to ignition following tailgating taken too far to a supercar that derives its soul from a racing icon of 1960s. Curiously enough, none of the ancestors of the latter made it to present day. The Bullet is officially a show car for the LSPD and one of the pursuit vehicles for the SAHP. The undercover police units are known to impersonate impromptu racers, only to flash their lights the second you overtake them - because apparently you were driving a faster car and the law can't take their loss like a man.
Five-Star Auctions

This is an improved model of Vapid Bullet. As of version 1.1, it's available in three variations:
Stock, unmarked Los Santos Police Department (LSPD) and San Andreas Highway Patrol (SAHP)

Common features:
- secondary colour: double stripes running along the body and single on each side, brake calipers, steering wheel and seat stitching
- front licence plate
- badges, complete with the originally unused "5.6 Liter" lettering on the back
- new steering wheel
- side mirrors on doors
- all basic functions available: breakable glass, dirt mapping, hands on a steering wheel etc.

Unmarked Bullet features:
- emergency lighting system, based on an unmarked Stanier and LSPD Buffalo
- extra part: spotlights
- compatible with Realism Dispatch Enhanced (RDE) with a minor issue (see below)

SAHP Bullet features:
- emergency lighting system
- 6 liveries based on California Highway Patrol vehicles
- compatible with Realism Dispatch Enhanced (RDE) with a minor issue (see below)

CHANGELOG:

1.0:
- Initial release.

1.1:
- San Andreas Highway Patrol Bullet variant added.
- Added support for text files, thanks to _CP_.
- Bullet: removed a chance to spawn with vintage gold-on-blue plates.
- Unmarked Bullet: fixed light setting to be consistent with the civilian variant.

INSTALLATION:
1. Start OpenIV.
2. Navigate to the 'mods' folder or create it in the GTA V folder if you don't have it.
3. Move the provided 'update' folder to 'mods'.
4. Leave 'mods' folder. Locate 'dlclist.xml':
GTA V/update/update.rpf/common/data
Enable 'edit mode' and when OpenIV prompts you to copy the whole catalogue to 'mods' folder, do it.
5. Add the following line:

        <Item>dlcpacks:\voitturyv\</Item>

6. If done correctly, the mod should be ready to use.

MODEL NAMES:
bullet
policebul2
hwaybul

KNOWN ISSUES:
- The law enforcement variations don't sound like a Bullet, but like a Buffalo. This was made in order for the sirens to emit sound.
- For RDE users: the Bullet might flash its left reversing light amber instead of red. The light colour is correct without RDE.

It's nice to see another GTAV lore-friendly workshop :) Police Bullet reminds me of the police interceptors from NFSHP

The version 1.1 contains an unmarked Bullet with ELS-support - I put it there by accident, woops. However, it lacks an appropriate .xml file, so you need to set it up yourselves for the time being. Anyway, have fun with it and please review it. It will get further updates anyway.

No interest? Oh.

After some feedback how the double stripe doesn't really fit the Bullet, because it looks off, I have come up with a single one. Also, I have invented a new method to make the stripes as wide as I please. Don't mind the wheels - I visited Beeker's.

I think you just need to make stripes wider or closer to each other on your double-striped variant. Always have been wondering why R* only does single-stripe paintjobs (e.g. Banshee)

The single stripe looks much better IMO.

Good workshop so far, any plans for the future? I have a few suggestions.

I need to keep improving the Bullet. Once I'm done, I'll decide what to do next.

I'm absent throughout Wednesday and Thursday.

The further improved Bullet is like 90% finished. There are two more things I need to have sorted - one major and one minor.

Can you distinguish them? You'd better do - because when you jack the wrong one, it's too late.

I'll jack the one on the left. But it is really hard to tell which one is unmarked.

Well the lights and the except plate sort of give it away but they both look absolutely stunning

A liveriless LSPD Bullet. Think of it as a T-800 before he/it steals clothes from a nearby punk/biker.

Koming with a livery... whenever.
