Hey there and thanks for checking out my problem,

So I am trying to make myself a mod pack and I had multiple problems along the way but mostly managed them. But this one I cannot figure out either the cause of it or a solution.

I installed a couple of mods including a sky pack with this skybox and some modified timecyc but it was glitchy and messed up with the effects so I decided to delete the game (don't really know why, doesn't matter now).

Anyway, made another game installation with the mods that I know are working and made a backup and now I installed the skybox arrange original mod with modloader and I got to this problem:

When I disable the mod it comes back to original, same at night. Tried skygrad.asi but doesn't really do anything...

To mention that I am playing SA:MP, not singleplayer.

If needed, these are my specs and the mods I installed:

CPU: i5 7500 @3.4Ghz

GPU: GTX 1060 6gb

RAM: 8gb

Monitor resolution: 1280x1024x32 @76Hz (I know my monitor is crappy, but can't afford a new one right now ;[  / that 76Hz tho)

OS: Windows 10 Pro x64

Mods installed:

  • modloader: Silent Patch / rundll32.exe fix / 2dfx v4 / Overdose Effects / vitalik's wheels pack v2 / Skybox Arrange (obviously).
  • IMFX v2
  • SAMP Addon v2
  • skygrad.asi
  • changer.cs (with sampfuncs.asi needed)

If anyone can help me with this i would be very thankful.

set 2dfx rendering distance on the ground to at least 3000 (gets laggy on low end systems).

And how exactly can I do that?

Now the stars show at night and it seems fine, but in the day at certain hours (over 18:xx mostly) the sky turns in strange colors:

Don't use weird timecyc mods... just use updated timecyc or the ps2 timecyc with fixed suncolors.

I haven't modified the timecyc, only the mods that are listed up there...

Must be skybox then. Even though I don't use it since previous versions had a tendency to act as a virus within your savefile attaching random objects which will stay stuck in your save (so even removing it won't get rid of those objects).

I have a backup so it doesn't matter now, but can you recommend me another skybox mod that looks realistic? And thanks for the help throughout

Haven't seen any skybox mod around that I would recommend sadly. They all turn out pretty badly.

Best I've seen is using the cloud textures from real particle.txd mod.

That problem happens when the timecyc.dat is incompatible with Skybox. Use the timecyc.dat which is given with the mod.

Try Mountain Skybox mod. <CLICK>
