*Topic name here*

I would like to know the difference between some things, if there is.

1. Cargobob vs Cargobob Jet

2. Buffalo/Gauntlet/Dominator vs Sprunk/Redwood and etc. versions.

3. Wheels. Off-road vs other wheels

1. The jetsam lacks visual military equipment, has no paintjob (all colors can be used, but it only spawns in white+red) and has a longer hook.

2. The liveried versions handle better and are a little bit faster.

3. Almost no difference except for very few vehicles, and even there, almost no difference.

That is only true for that VIP Work where you need to haul a container around, otherwise the hook length is the same on both version.

2. Buffalo/Gauntlet/Dominator vs Sprunk/Redwood and etc. versions.

Liveried Gauntlet has the Rapid GT engine sound instead of the muscle sound from the standard.

And its a little bit faster, but not as fast as the Pisswasser Dominator.

This is actually a really good thread idea if people can bring their own observations and/or inquiries to the thread.

Here's a few of my own:

• Is there any difference between regular vehicles and their livery counterparts, beyond ability to upgrade?
• What's the difference between the Homing Launcher's explosives and the RPG?

• What's the difference between a car with Turbo and not having Turbo?
• What's the difference between Los Santos Customs and Beeker's Garage, other than the mechanic?

As always, just curious for the dialogue. Cheers!

1: They have livery on them, thats that.

2: With an RPG you actually have a chance to hit a jet. The explosive power seems equal.

3: One with a turbo sounds like sh*t and the other one is slower.

4: The old smell of smoke and cigars and a can of farts in the corner.

Whats the difference between:

•  a wheel going foward, and a wheel going backwards?

Spoiler

•  a male GTA player pretending to be a girl online and a kid pretending to be a man online.

• A preteen squeaking in his mic, a 420 weedhead talking not so funny things on his mic and thinking he's hilarious, or a drunk alchol guzzler talking sh*t about just about anyone in a lobby and is self proclaimed 100% correct all the time.

• A crew full of people with islamic slurs in their nickname playing islamic music on their mic attacking everyone that doesn't have islamic slurs in their nickname and a crew full with people that have übermensch in their nickname killing everyone that has a colored character while saying almost hilariously stupid racist things which pretty much make no sense at all.

No difference between Cargobobs, just appearance.

The livery versions of Dominator, Buffalo S etc have a performance increase over the normal ones, see Broughy1322's YT for all vehicle metric testing. He's the most accurate and consistent vehicle tester.

Off-road tires provide increased traction over normal tires which increase grip and this overall vehicle performance.

Wait, is this true? This was a big debate topic back in the early days, but I never saw it confirmed. Twood be nice if it was! :)

Well f*ck me for giving out false information then, I've only ever used the jetsam in singleplayer and ceo work, so I thought it's always longer.

Spending money on a cargobob is kind of a waste anyway, considering you can easily spawn rotate until you get one.

It's not even useful for anything, doing vehicle cargo is much faster by just driving the cars.

According to broughys testing it has a difference on only a few vehicles.

-Depends on which vehicle we are talking about here, Bati 801 and Bati RR performance are the same, so as the Sanchez(livery) and Sanchez 2(no livery) and the Go Go Monkey Blista(SP exclusive) and Blista Compact.
But the Massacro racecar is a little bit faster than the normal Massacro, the applies to the Jester, Gauntlet, Buffalo, Dominator and Stallion.
For all other vehicles I haven't listed, the liveries are nothing but an paintjob option, so no performance gain there.

-Homing can lock on vehicles, not having to rely on free aim, but its weaker than a RPG.(Case in point: an Homing rocket makes an Hydra inoperable but it wont blow up, RPG promptly blows it up) Also homing rockets are more expensive and are limit to 10 rockets.
EDIT: I also believe they have shorter range AND speed when compared to RPGs, but I still have to test that.

-The annoying sound of the blown-off valve(some cars luckily don't have that) and of course, the turbo gives better acceleration.

-No difference at all.

Precisely, there is a list lieing around here that shows what cars benefit from it.

And I should mention that the off road wheels dont change handling, just makes cars go faster and more stable when they hit curbs.

Yes, I believe so. I have the RE-7B, Omnis, and Ralleye and removed the liveries from all of them.

I can't confirm the Muscle cars, but again, I would believe so. :)

I have a feeling you can't remove them from muscle cars.
